Another youngster who won't be seen or heard of again.

He’ll be signing for Luton in 12 months

He's cheaper than Diang ................... the double D's must be having a right chuckle

Less salary, what's not to like
  • Looking at the West Brom forum and they are delighted and excited without exception, this should tell you we need keep him. You would think the rumour was concerning Messi regard some of the posts!
  • On a brighter front, Glenn Murray has joined Watford. Hopefully this might help us finally beat Brighton
  • Very disappointing "Grady Diangana: West Brom agree deal for West Ham forward" https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11698/12061722/grady-diangana-west-brom-agree-deal-for-west-ham-forward . I was looking forward to seeing Diangana in WHU colours.

Either Grady does not want to stay at WHU or Antonio is injured and WHU desperately need another striker.
  • Probably couldn’t guarantee him a regular starting place which he wanted so as we couldn’t raise funds any other way had to sell so we can get a new LB & possibly a CH and forward. Borini is available now that would be the beginning of the end!!!
  • What kind of message does it send to the rest of the players
  • Everyone has to earn their place?
  • Although I would have liked to have seen Diangana given a go, I agree with Fortuneseeker that he wasn't a guarantee to start and that's perhaps what he's now after.
  • I am gutted by this but you can only sell the players that gain the interest.
  • Nothing on bbc about this. Not on west ham or west Brom pages.
  • Apparently ExWHU’s podcast is about to come out with stuff on this and some rumour about new owners

    😂
  • If the case ,then IMO they should step aside, even if they are out of pocket, do the right thing for the club
  • I just wish they'd sell up. In today's Premier league you have to be able to spend or you go backwards. If you can't afford to spend say 40 million, then you really ought just pack it in.
  • its not like they are both on the rich list of anything!!!
  • Ex has said they don't want to sell before 2023. We have to put up with this until then. #prisonsentence
  • 2023...I wonder what division we'll be in?
  • I have to admit I am a little bit miffed over the decision to let Grady go. I rarely get angry, but I am rather angry about this sort of thing. Made a hole in my cardigan with a sharp pencil.
  • Also saw that

    Makes this even more unreasonable

    Still angry about this
  • How come Everton are able to spend a shedloads? They haven't sold anyone for ages. How come FFP doesn't seem to apply to them?
  • If he doesn’t want to leave he doesn’t have to, surely?
  • No but it takes a lot of will to insist on staying when you have a manager and club who want you. If Moyes wasn’t involved in the bid being accepted, then maybe he can convince Diangana. Still some hope.
  • Gotta laugh
The big problem we have is overpaid players who cost us a lot of money, are on a lot of money and who dont look like we want to be here

And we have a player who doesnt want to leave, didnt cost us anything, is on small wages and we will probably sell him for undervalued fee

It’s mad isn’t it? I’m sure you could get rid of a few others for 12-18m as well. If we’re desperate, I’m sure Anderson would be bought for around that, even if it’s a big loss on his original fee it would be a better long term move. I understand there might not be interest in Anderson at what we want to sell him for but i doubt there’s no interest at all.
  • The owners have to go in my opinion. Should Rice go now they will have probably achieved the impossible in becoming more hated by their own fans than Mike Ashley is at Newcastle.
  • I forgot how much I hate listening to Ex speak. He always speaks like he hasn't finished his sentence.
  • Does anyone know if both David's other businesses are in difficulties due to Covid? (E.g. Is Ann Summers screwed? No pun intended🤭)
Maybe they are raising cash any which way they can to firefight other probs? Might be clutching at straws as probably/should be a rule saying you can't do that? Any experts know about this stuff?
  • Thought it was odd he went out on loan last season considering how he performed in the 1st team. We have been hopeless in the transfer markets since Pardew. Seems like the current board have gone the way of the Icelanders business wise with the Haller deal. Anyway - still got 4 players that can play in Moyes system on the left!!
  • West Ham and England midfielder Declan Rice, 21, has been urged to stay at the club by an unlikely source... WWE wrestler Triple H. (BT Sport)
