If football manager has taught me anything, Portuguese clubs have been putting crazy minimum fee release clauses on players for a 15+ years. Not sure why they put them so high.

It's also being reported that Costa is no longer required at Chelsea. Not saying we should go for him, but it could mean that Bats is less likely to leave ;hmm

That said, SSN did report yesterday that he wasn't prepared to spend next season on the bench with the 2018 World Cup on the horizon, so it does sound like he may be pushing for a move, particularly if Lukaku re-joins.

Yeah, but so had George Best, Paul McGrath and Paul Gascoigne, and Oliver Bierhoff smoked ten a day, including a half-time fag most matches. Not saying Kruse is up to their standards, just saying work and play need to be separated*
