This is normal AC about 5 games a season where he shows he is quality then a few when he is getting back to fitness and a couple where he is carrying a niggle.

Are we supposed to be pleased about this? In any other form of employment following so many absences he would be shown the door. I'm quite happy for this to be the case here.
I assume it's something to do with a clause in a contract that stops this from happening? Does anyone here know?
I can't remember where I read it yesterday and I didn't read the article because I get irrationally cross about it but the headline said that AC is sunning himself abroad at the moment.
Lets hope he has a storming last two or three games at the end of the season, so someone come in with an offer that cannot be refused to take him off our hands.... ;wink
