Dicks' role is a very minor one - you can't really lay the reasons for this shambles at his door IMO

  March 2017

So why is he at the club

Meanwhile, there's a game going on in London.

  2-3, Ayew ;wahoo

Why do we insist on playing players out of position? When Reid gets injured we have a ready made replacement in Collins on the bench but we decide to play Kouyate in defence instead.

  Fernandes to come on

Don't like the idea of Lanzini and Fernandes as CMs far too lightweight

It doesn't help when we gift goals to the opposition.

At least we won't lose next week.

We seem to have lost the basics of working hard without the ball and defending with discipline from the start. If we keep playing so open at the start of games then I fear we will keep giving the initiative away and teams will take advantage.

So in a nutshell we have conceded 6 goals and 2 penalties on top in three halves of football against teams below us in the table

Well,I suppose the second half was better but this is still nowhere near good enough. We can be thankful that the bottom three are as bad as they are because despite our poor run I don't think we'll get dragged into a relegation battle.Let's get the 7 points or so that we need to ensure safety & then take a look at things during the summer.
