I've never seen a season like this where so many decisions have gone against us. Slav has always kept quiet when talking about refs, its no surprise he finally flipped.
He cares just as much as us fans and that's why i love him

More frustrated that we let the goal in IMO.
  • Bunch of comments discussing the match moved to WBA thread ;ok

    I have

Last season (in fact even more)
  • Would love to see the hat going around at the next home game to pay his fine as happened at a lower league match earlier this season, not because he needs it but just to send the message to the FA that it is getting ridiculous to keep fining managers more and more when criticising a referee in a post match interview that he is forced to give by the same FA. If a ref wants to be a ref, he knows the score, he knows his performance will be as scrutinised as any player and manager, if he does well he will get praised and if he has a bad game he will be criticised, if they don't like it don't become referees. I am not suggesting you should be able to swear and cuss them but you should be able to say he was rubbish, he got everything wrong and changed the result of the match with his decisions, if that is what is evident. Ref's will endear themselves more if they hold their hands up also, as we all understand mistakes and bad games.
  • There also needs to be some sort of sanction against reporters who persist in asking managers questions about their views on the ref decisions, even when they know that the managers will in turn get in to trouble for answering them.

Just had a 90 min live show from the London Stadium with live interviews from Captain Noble , David Gold , Antonio & super Slav..
Another great show , all great vibes from all of them and a real good team spirit...
  • Bilic and Jurevic each fined £8000 but no touchline bans.
  • Thing is, though, Adam, they weren't. The incidents that sparked both their sending offs were correct decisions, as were most of the others and you are bound to get the odd bad call.
I am not complaining but I really would like to know why SB and Jurevic were only finded. We are always complaining about our owners about being to open but at the same time the FA and the Prem are being so hush hush about their decisions. I for one know what annoys me more!

FA publish the standard fines/penalties in the handbook. It's not a secret.
    sanction

There is a separate (tougher) set of sanctions if the charge is initially denied, and subsequently found to be proven.

  • No previous.
  • So they were fined for aggressive behaviour but they didn't use insulting language?

Miraculously so given the shocking officiating in the last third of last season!
  • Munich ;ok

That's how I interpret it... presumably based on what the referee put in his report.

If you've got two blokes swearing in Serbo-Croat how's the ref going to tell if it's foul and abusive or not?

ASLEF, didn't you know that with all the foreign players in the PL, all refs, linesmen etc have been issued with instantaneous translators.
I think they were surplus Startrek stock. ;yercoat
  • And all that. ;wahoo
  • Love you slaven ;ok feels the passion
  • Sky reporting he's close to signing a new deal.

Probably will not get the deal signed until the club are mathematically safe I reckon or reaches 38 points.
  • I am a little concerned with the tone of David Sullivan's comments on the Bournemouth game. Slav is our man and he needs backing.

  • I see very little wrong in what sully has said personally

In fact I think he is spot on
  • Same old Sully. Gives a match report and, as always, tries to sell you something
  • Lacks a little class amongst other things.
