    True Detective season 2 premiere was fine. Loads of mixed reviews so tuned in expecting to be disappointed but it was fine. As long as people don't expect it to beat season 1 it will be fine.

    MrsG - I'd it looks like it'll be darker, but I suppose it depends on what topics you'd consider more darker than others.

    Anything worth watching recently? Doesn't seem a lot on at the moment with Blacklist, Homeland etc.. not on for another couple of months.
    Haven't seen any of the new True Detective season yet, really enjoyed season 1, but with new characters it must be a completely different show?

    Most big TV shows seem to work on the,

    Jan - March = filming,
    March - May = on TV,
    June - August = filming,
    September - November = on TV,
    December - Mid way / Half time "breaks"

    True Detecive season 2 is great. Not as mesmerising as season 1 (was never going to be), but still a very solid show.

    Has anyone seen "Welcome To Me", starring Kirsten Wiig? Enjoyed and recommend are not words I would use because it might not be to everybody's taste but I would pay to see it again. A very black comedy about a California lottery winner [with a "border-line personality disorder"] who funds her own day-time chat show, with no guests, on a financially ailing TV station so that she can talk about herself.

    Anyone else watch American Horror Story? I absolutely love it. The first three series are on netflix and I'm just re watching them now.
