It is rather odd that a large number of players do strap their wrists but I guess they are falling to ground alot so the wrist becomes susceptible I guess. ;hmm
I actually thought it was a superstitious/aesthetic thing. They had it once for an injury but then kept using it for whatever reason. I feel like that kind of bandaging can't offer that much protection in protecting against an injury...
I was a bit concerned when he slipped up over the carpet near the mic, behind the goal line.
Kouyate had his operation today and in plaster for 8 weeks. Antonio is in rehab. Sakho is out for the rest of the season and Carroll is continuing with his rehabilitation after suffering a significant adductor strain.
Just reading through the Treatment Room article on the OS. These two bits jumped out at me:
On Reid -
"The New Zealand skipper had an operation this week to rectify a rare and chronic knee condition that has seen him play through the pain barrier for the past few weeks"
On Noble -
"The injury was of a nature that we have not seen before, but this is something we have become used to with Nobes throughout his career!"
When you consider we once lost Carroll for months with what was essentially a ballerinas injury, you can understand why people think we're cursed with unusual injuries ;lol

Like, we don't actually know that there was ever an issue between Slav and Sakho, do we?
It was made up unless you think Slaven is lying.
;ok
Nordy back in?
Pressure is off now we got 42 points and Nordtveit is a ready made replacement not to mention Fernandes who Bilic rates highly
He's a miss but with 2 games to go it's a miss we can deal with
