It's like when I was living in Spain and meant to send a rather risqué joke to a pal, hit the wrong recipient and sent it to a poor unsuspecting lass working on reception in a La Manga hotel. ;doh Fortunately, the England squad were training there so I suspect she heard a lot worse from that lot. ;lol
He only has one season (i.e amount of time), the owners have made it public if we get relegated then he won't get any compensation, therefore if they have inserted that clause I very much doubt they'd continue with his services should we go down.
I think he'll get it right in the end, he's brought in some decent players and I expect a couple more unless the owners lock up the chequebook (I think we could have another 10m in the vault possibly more with some players leaving)
I wouldn't even bother discussing Bilic's position until November, regardless of where we are.
This is a write off season for me. Just gonna try and enjoy it. Last season at the Boleyn. Hopefully European football to follow. Yes he's brought in a few players, but he's also inherited a lot of dross. Needs at least 3 windows to get the squad he wants. Plus needs time for the players to adapt to his new methods.
I kept it quiet, but Bilic was my No1 choice from Day 1. Was always going to be a difficult season and one that I hope he negotiates well. It will take time for his style to embed and I hope people on here and in the stands will have a bit of patience ;ok
From the high we were at in December, the crash that followed has left me struggling to care that much about the details that much. Just want to enjoy it and see what happens.
For some reason, enjoyed that Astra game and was jumping up and down probably more than I ever have at a West Ham game.
;ok OCS - From the players signed it looks like we are trying to get more speed at the back & more imagination in the middle, hopefully we can find someone else to put them in. All in all i like the direction especially with youth, i hope we can get some early results and keep the pressure off, we certainly don't want to dig a hole and spend the rest of the season trying to climb out of it.

Who brought this lot in ;wink

Bilic is on record as saying he inherited a good group of players; still what does he know?
I wouldn't expect him to slate the squad.
That would be really demoralising.

The 20 players that were here when he arrived. How many would you give the label of 'dross' to, rav?
