I agree we need wingers, but there is always the option of wingbacks and more central options too. I think a CB would be my first choice, because the idea of Kilman needing to come back in scares the life out of me.

Thought we were doomed when he came on for the last few minutes yesterday.
A CB really is necessary though I think as an attacker we might need more of a number 10 to replace what Paqueta (in theory) does.
You have to ask just what has happened with Kilman. From Wikipedia: In April 2019, Wolves head coach Nuno Espírito Santo stated that "Max is 100 percent integrated into the (first team) squad... I just see him as a very good football player, a centre-half with quality. He's big, aggressive. He has to improve like all young players, but we're really, really happy with Max." You'd think that Nuno would be able to get him back to the form that he apparently had. To me, Kilman always looks like he's in a permanent daze.
West Ham still interested in Cresswell Latest from Sky Sports News' Lyall Thomas and Chris Reidy:
West Ham remain interested in Toulouse’ Charlie Cresswell as Wolfsburg push to try and sign the centre-back.
The French club will not listen to offers below £22m (in excess of €25m) and therefore they have rejected offers from Wolfsburg so far.
Cresswell was of interest to West Ham in the summer and they are believed to remain in the background as they weigh-up several options for a new centre-back this month.
They were last week linked with Eric Dier but the player is happy at Monaco, who do not plan to let him go this month.
Wolfsburg were also interested in Brentford’s Kristoffer Ajer but the West London club will not sell.
Cresswell, 23, is formerly of Leeds and an ex-England U21 international.
A winger could only be for depth of squad as it's our strongest position at present with Bowen and Summerville.
What I want them to do is gather up all the money from down the side of the sofa and anywhere else and then sink it into a centre back. He should be fit and have a good injury record, he should be playing in one of the big five leagues, UK, Italy, Span, France or Germany. He should be good in the air and have leadership qualities. oh and quickly.
I would be pretty certain Fernandes is staying as not only has he been an asset but he is exactly the type of player that will be needed in the Championship if the worst happens.

Latest from Sky Sports News' Chris Reidy:
West Ham are in talks to sign winger Keiber Lamadrid from Deportivo La Guaira.
Talks are ongoing around a loan move with an option to buy.
The 22-year-old has spent the last four seasons at the Venezuelan side, scoring 14 goals in 107 appearances.
"Carry on up the Keiber" or variations on it.
I give it three games until someone on Twitter has decided the reason we’re not out of the relegation zone is that Nuno hasn’t played this guy.
