Soler was one of the better players against Fulham, but dropped. I suppose it is tactical. What formation will be play? Is it 3-5-2 or 4-5-1. Potter hoping to nick a goal. Our midfiled it weak.

Has to be a back 3 of Mavropanos - Kilman - Cresswell imo, no other reason for Cresswell to be playing.
It’s funny how quickly the mood can shift. If I’d seen this line up two weeks ago I’d be a nervous wreck. We’re so far from our strongest team, but I like that Potter is making tactical decisions anyway.
Whilst falling short of simulation, Soucek was certainly guilty of the theatrical but at least he got himself into the box and presented himself as a target
We have parked the bus at home to Crystal Palace, which is not a good look, but I guess may be understandable with our injury list, it does however allow a lot of pressure upon us. If we have any ambition for the three points we will need push Soucek up or get Soler on, as we already have a five man defence and two DM.s meaning when we break we don't have enough threat to concern the Palace defence. I understand why but even so this is incredibly defensive for a game at home against a side below us.
It certainly hasn't been a great watch. Palace have had more of the ball and a few half chances, we've offered little going forward, but hey, it's 0-0, let's hope we improve in the 2nd half....
Toothless in attack, static midfield and creating nothing. How ling before Alvarez in sent off. Need a change of formation and players, especially in attack.

Cresswell starting, 3 at the back?
Annoying to watch Bournemouth play with no strikers then watching this and thinking why can't we even play half as good as that.
