    Nice break from a City corner, Summerville put Kudus in for a shot but it was poorly struck and well wide.

    At least with Summerville and Kudus on the pitch, one of them can keep up with the other when they hate forward.

    Now they just have to learn to score.

    Almost, yes. Certainly Taylor, and almost all refs against the Sky 6; we rarely get the rub of the green in any of those games.

    We flatter to deceive, can’t hit the target & our defending is woeful & has shown no signs of getting better

    Arrgh that hurts, Coufel got a bit caught out and then Areola misjudged the flight of the ball making it easy for Haaland

    Defensive errors cost us a lot as although we have actually played well - to come back from two down against City is a big ask

    Our defending is embarrassing & not fit for this level & we have no clinical edge when we attack, completely wasteful.

    Some nice, ‘fluffy’ stuff between boxes but that’s it.

    Our final touch today shows how much we miss Bowen....Kudus is such a waster, something is so off with him this season compared to last, we have played some decent forward play at times, but wow, that final touch is simply championship quality...Defending, both times for their goals, Coufal taken for a ride, aided by some poor judgement from Areola...and the rest is history..Oh well.....Let's see if we can improve in the 2nd half, 1 bright spark, Summerville.

    7 shots for us, not 1 on target, yet again.....When you play top teams, you have to take a chance or 2, but not 1 even on target, that's so, so bad....

    Kudus just trying to do it all himself, so infuriating

    Thought we've played well, the 1st goal was horrible and the 2nd was a error (again) by Areola

    Deffo need a new keeper

    For sure, really we need 2, as Areola isn't good enough to be first choice, and is too well paid to be second choice. Next season Fabianski shouldn't even be second choice, but, knowing us, we'll offer him another year as we'll already need loads of new faces to come in.

    We do not seem to want to play to Fullkrugs strengths, he is a competent centre forward but it is rare that I feel we look for him in the final third

    That is why I would like to see Ings. Up top alongside him, someone who is also a bit of an old fashioned forward minded player who could possibly form an understanding with him
