    Todibo over Mavropanos, finally!

He did displace Mavropanos in the starting 11 for a game or two earlier this season, but then was either injured, ill, or out of favour again. Like you, I'm glad he's back as I still think he's better than he's shown so far.

  • 2 mins in .And still 0-0 not bad =)
  • Twice Kudus has been set away, both times he's tried a low percentage shot rather than a pass.

So 5 mins in and we actually look decent, kudus has had a couple of opportunities which he could have done better with if he had just looked up or been a bit less greedy
  • Is it me or are we looking the better team
  • 1-0 City

    Kudus as wasteful as ever
  • Chance for Soucek as this time Kudus pulls the ball back nicely, but the shot is rushed, and scuffed.
  • Oh dear 1 down
  • Oh well. Really unlucky, huge deflection.
  • That’s that then! At least we made it to double digits this time.

    That aged well 🤣

Will probably even go down as a Coufal OG.

  • More quality defending from Alvarez too…
  • That feels a little unlucky, we failed to clear our lines but that was a wicked deflection - against teams like City you need to take your chances and maybe have the rub of the green……….drat and double drat
  • Kudus is so irritating...and wasteful....
  • Fullkrug in the book
  • Stupid yellow for Füllkrug for a pull, although you feel it might not have been given to a City player.

Is that officially Coufels first premiership goal? Could be a trivia question for the ages

Is that officially Coufels first goal?

I doubt it, I think he's scored at least one own goal. We had a spell a couple of years ago when we seemed to score a lot of own goals, so I'm sure Coufal got in on the act.

  • Typical homer ref for a Sky 6 team as Summerville penalised, never happens the other way around.
  • Ooh, lovely move. But no end product.

Buffy, its was a foul, simple as that...
  • Lop booked again for saying one thing, yet don’t see the same with other managers.

    Totally disagree.

In fact, it's not even his first own goal for/against Man City, he scored a peach of a diving header in the 2-2 draw in May 2022.

It just did, with a yellow for Kovajic.

Plus, ref could have given Paq a yellow and didn't.

No offence, but there's not even a debate for me , he caught his leg, simple, foul....
  • So half an hour in and despite being a goal down, I like what I have seen from us so far
  • Whatever happens we are definitely having a go and taking the game to them.

Different situation with Kovajic, Summerville was clean through. At the very least City would have been allowed to play on with a possible VAR review afterwards, which definitely should have happened here.
