Roger Goodall, the NFL Commissioner, earns $64m a year. A 30 second TV advert during the Super Bowl cost $6.5m. The Denver Broncos are reported to be for sale with the starting price expected to be $4b. It's big business.
l="whupathman">Apparently the Leeds fans were pepper sprayed by the police at Everton, hit a steward and tried to stop the culprit being arrested. Er, the police or the Leeds fans?? (Semi-serious question)🤔
Lots of food for thought in that.I think we’re heading headfirst into a Scottish style league where only two clubs can win the league, except here it may be three or possibly four. There may be the odd Aberdeen or Leicester but in general it’s predictable. The excitement/ interest around 4th place is testimony to that, it’s clubs own version of winning the league which tells you all you need about the aspirations of most clubs outside of the big boys.

If you leave out Blackburn in 1995 and Leicester in 2016 only five clubs have won the Premier League in 29 seasons
Any article that compares the Premier League with the NFL has failed to notice the rather obvious differences.
