“ Noble getting hate even when not playing” Noble shouldn't be playing and we were better for him not playing . That is a perfectly reasonable comment , he should not be playing at this level .

A very good result so much more pace and creativity. Hopefully the manager has realised that Noble is the problem and he should not leave players like Benhrama out again to play him.

Noble getting hate when he hasn’t even played, cool.
    Stating the obvious, not hate.
  • Just think it's a very odd time to be coming on and giving Noble stick. We've just played a brilliant game and won.

And Noble has been pretty good in filling in for Rice recently, when he has played.
  • Don't like Moyes talking about Benrahma

Still saying he needs some consistency (which he does) but seems hypocritical when Fornals and Bowen are quite inconsistent as well
  • Antonio is such a cool 😎 character, his interview was fantastic, so refreshing to see ....🤣
  • Moyes saying that Benrahma needs to be more consistent.

Bit harsh I think considering he's not been given a proper run in the side.

I personally think what Moyes said was very true about Benrahma... but we all entitled to our opions and get me .... agreeing with Moyes 🤪how times have moved on!!!
  • I think he is keeping his feet on the ground as he has signed him, he is saying it will take a season to adjust, moyes as more right than wrong this season
  • Perhaps he's inconsistent in training. I don't see Moyes as an easy taskmaster so it was a positive remark imo.
  • When you analyze a game you point out why you think we played better. Noble ruins the side in my opinion and we have much better players and it was shown very clearly tonight. So why not mention that fact ?
  • Benrahma showed in that game his inconsistency. Loads of great bits of play, dangerous first half, wasteful second, shoots when he shouldn’t (generally), passes when he should shoot.

No doubt works exceptionally hard, though.
  • Sure you're not talking about Antonio there Lukerz? 😂
  • If anyone wants to read something refreshing you should head over to the Burnley forum. Lots of praise for us on there. Saying we are the best team they've played this season.

As Champo says, this also describes Fornals and Bowen, who I don't remember getting the level of criticism, constructive or otherwise, that Benrahma gets.

I know you’re having a laugh IH👍🏻 Just wish Benrahma knew where the back of the net is....

Dyche was very complementary. Said they played, we were just an excellent side & there was no shame losing to us.

Noble getting hate even when not playin

Personally, I agree that we’re a better side when we have Rice and Soucek, or when we play more of our creative players, than when we do neither of those things. I just don’t get why any of our players, particularly those who are out injured, need to be criticised to make that point.

But I think this comes with him trying difficult things but also being really eager to impress whenever he is on.

I think he's on 5/6 assists (I'm not sure if all the tables have added this latest one yet) now which makes him either joint second or joint third, behind Cresswell, who takes set pieces, and while not playing regularly. It also would've made him top assister in almost any of the last 5 seasons.

I think his biggest problem is sometimes trying too hard to shoot. He really doesn't have much composure because he seems so desperate but there were a number of times he was involved in creating changes, apart from his assist. It's a real shame Antonio messed up that pass to him on the counter as it might've been a break through.

It's like because Benrahma does step overs as well people add a bunch of assumptions on about him.
  • To add to that, his assists: in the 1-0 against Fulham; for the winner in the 2-1 against Villa; the opener in the 3-1 at Villa; in the 3-0 at Sheffield; and then tonight.

He's created in games that have been tight and important for us.
  • I just think we look better going forward with Benrahma in the side, and I enjoy watching us more. I'd like him starting every game until the end of the season.

    Lanzini was class tonight, too.

What a great season this has been. The contribution from the entire squad has been incredible.

A very generous bunch, my favourite however was this one. It shows how perceptions can vary. Someone thinks Sully is just pouring that cash in!

'Also they have a billionaire who made his money from porn pouring cash in'

No-one's hating Noble, it's an inflammatory misuse of the word.
  • We played some beautifull football ,like Brazil in the 70s .Except for perhaps our finishing .Look out Chelsea we are coming for you
  • Brilliant stuff from Moyes and the team. Antonio is so priceless
  • Is this the Burnley that used to bully our little ballers into submission? Revenge is sweet for our five little ballers... =)
  • I think credit should be given where it is due (to me). I selflessly sacrificed myself by doing the Chelsea thread to allow Jorderz, the flat track bully, a clear run against the “lesser” opposition.

I recall.lots of criticism in seasons gone by for these 2 players.

I've been critical of Fornals in the past, thought he was a bit overrated in his first season, not anymore...Don't remember that much grief towards Bowen, although I do recall a bit ( from you and a few!! )...

My gripe with Benrahama, he frustrates me, he has the skill for sure, no argument there, but sometimes his thinking is still championship level for me ( final pass/ shot etc ), not saying he won't come right, as Moyes said, some just take a little longer than others to make the grade in the PL ....Bowen hit the road from the get go, not sure Benrahama has.....

Not from Moyes, which was the context of my original comment.
