    Ex reporting that there is doubt over Nolan & Nevin’s futures. Moyes wants both to stay but both have been approached by other clubs & they have not had new deals here sorted.

    Ex says with the budget tight he is not sure what will happen.

    So we may not even be able to afford to give Moyes that backroom staff he wants, let alone players?

    They brought him back for a second time. They have to back him, surely.

    Are we sure that they've only signed on as coaches? Could be cover at LB (Pearce) and attacking midfield (Nolan) knowing how G&S like to get value for money.

    A team that got relegated from the Premier League, a Championship team that lost the playoff final and another than finished mid-table.

    That's a very good pre-season considering that travel to and from overseas is severely restricted. We're not going to get Atletico Madrid at the London Stadium if they have to go through a 14 day quarantine.

    Interestingly, with the squad split, you would expect a longer playing time for some players & then maybe a load of kids coming on.

    The Hammers’ first-team squad will be split in half, with one group of players facing EFL Championship new boys Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park, and the other tackling League One side Ipswich Town at Portman Road. Both matches will kick-off at 2pm.

    Surprised by Lanzini/Fornals in one match and Anderson/Diangna in the other.

    So for those that don't know much about our youth players

    Akinola - 21 year old centre back, think he captained the U23s last year

    Adarkwa - 19 year old centre forward

    Longelo - 19 year old left back (former winger)

    Rosa - 19 year old centre mdifielders/attacking midfielder and sometimes at full back

    Cardoso - 19 year old centre back signed from Boavista last year

    Kemp - 21 year old winger/midfielders

    Odubeko - 17 year old stirker we signed from Man United last year
