Some people have posted that our transfer kitty is zero (or thoughts to that effect). However there is every chance that the pot may in fact be negative, and that the sales of Ajeti and Hugill only help to make it less negative as opposed to giving us positive funds to reinvest

The fact that we've defaulted twice on Haller's payments suggests that may be true.
West Ham goalkeeper Roberto has joined La Liga side Real Valladolid.
Roberto spent only one year with the Hammers, making 10 appearances.
According to Ex, we're still paying 60% of his wages until June 2021 (when his contract was due to end with us).
Only West Ham can actually lose money on what was a free transfer.
Subsiding his departure was always likely to be an outcome though surely? It’s not as though we were ever likely to hold all the aces when it came to negotiating with the buying club.

I know with loans the lending team will often subsidise the player's wages, but how often does it happen in a permanent deal? Effectively, he's registered to another club, has absolutely nothing to do with West Ham anymore, yet we're paying him a reported £25k a week for the next 10 months.
It’s a cash mechanism. We can either pay x to have him here and not play or y to not have him here at all - y being less than x. Correct decision if that is the best on offer. Don’t blame Board for this one.
What I do blame them for is a multitude of poor decisions, not just restricted to the stadium. The open willingness to fund some of Husillos’ crazy purchases, not just Roberto. For example Carlos Sanchez at £70k a week? You can bet Daniel Levy is not paying Matt Doherty or say Harry Winks anywhere near that!! Roll on 2023 (hopefully)
If anyone can tell me how the under18 shirts compare to the adult shirts size wise then that would be great. I really like the black shirt but I don't want that sponsor on it.

I always buy them, they’re exactly the same sizes.
Meanwhile, Chelsea could also push their summer spending over £250m after considering making £80m offer for West Ham and England midfielder Declan Rice, 21. (Sun)

Is that new? It feels like I’ve read this one before several thousand times... :hmm
West Ham are preparing to challenge Leeds in the race for Shakhtar Donetsk defender Mykola Matviyenko. The 24-year-old was one of the key players in the Shakhtar side that reached the Europa League semi-finals this summer.

Mostly plays CB but can play LB or RB. Doesn't look like much of an improvement on what we have at the moment
Leeds sign a striker who scored 38 goals in 172 games for Valencia. Cost them £26m.
Is that a good record? Also played for Bolton 10 years ago where he scored once.
Rodrigo Moreno, 34 apps last season (30 starts), 8 goals, missed 15 games through injury and one for a red card.
Season before 51 apps (43 starts) 15 goals, missed 8 games through injury and one for a red card.
Obviously Owen Coyle didn't rate him, he spent most of his time at Bolton on the bench (2010/11). Out of the 41 games he was available he started 5 and was substituted on 15 times.
Ex seems to fear the club will sell Rice due to lack of interest in other players but fears we will sell right at the end of the window. Why on earth would G&S do that? This is a unique scenario as Rice is only 21. In that case you say to Chelsea ‘if you want him, £80m now or you don’t get him as we need time to spend the money’.
All parties can wait another year before the move happens. He doesn’t need to desperately become a Chelsea player this year.
Set a date for Chelsea to make an acceptable offer? If they don't then with a lot of things to do with West Ham United at the moment we will have resign ourselves that we won't be able to get the four new players we need & will make do with what looks a decent squad but one with its weaknesses.

Still very much sell-to-buy, but so far we've sold three players for a total of £7.5m and no-one close to coming in.
Seems barking to me.

I got my dad a medium shirt for his bday of the away kit in an U18 kit.

It gets to the point where surely you give up until there is an opportunity to update that story progress.
