Paderborn's Klaus Gjasula just got a Bundesliga record; 17 yellow cards in one season
Paderborn currently 3-0 down at half time to Werder Bremen who missed a penalty. If Dusseldorf lose to Dortmund and Werder win 6-0 they climb to 16th. Apparently they have a reputation of escaping relegation
I've done a new thread for anyone who wants to discuss the actual matches. Maybe we can keep this for things like positive tests, any further suspensions related to Covid19 etc?
Our first league match is Home to Wolves, on Saturday, William Hill are giving the odds of the Hammers to win 5/2, and a draw also at 5/2. Wolves are favorites to win at 11/10. I will have a punt at 5/2 for a draw.
I see we are one of only 4 teams yet to be scheduled to be on a free to air channel! I assume the matches on the last day of the season will all kick off at the same time, all on Sky?
Just read on the BBC that La Liga will start the 2020/21 season on 12 September and its likely the Premier League will do the same.
The Times says that teams in Europe will possibly be allowed to drop out or play youth sides in the League Cup although I'm not sure if UEFA would award a Europa League spot to the winner if that happens
Also players union Fifpro wants a mandatory mid-season 10-14 day break.
