  • That training kit looks awful but the away kit isn't that bad, I've definitely seen a lot worse.
  • Looks like it was "designed" by a 4 year-old with 2 shades of blue crayons.

Although I died a bit at 0:43 ;weep
  • New open champion italian Francesco Molinari is a west ham fan!
  • That's probably because he's great friends with Paul McGinley who's also a hammer.
  • That's that a world cup and an open for us ;whistle
  • I was really supporting Molinari today and I didn’t know why really, obviously must have felt the WH connection...

    It likes the force...
  • Not forgetting the Ryder Cup from a few years ago Hamstew. ;whistle
  • Oh dear Sebastian Vettel, all you had to do was bring it home and take the points and applause......instead you misjudged the braking on a straight forward corner in damp conditions and the win and maximum points went to Lewis Hamilton.....thanks anyway ;ok
  • "Molinari, Italy’s first Open champ, is a huge pal of former West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola and a regular at Hammers games.

Now he can show them the Claret and Blue jug, after giving Europe the perfect shot in the arm ahead of September’s Ryder Cup showdown in France. Molinari’s victory makes him nailed on for the team."

  • Someone posted this in reply in twitter, which made me laugh....

So he just casually had an ice cream on the 1207th anniversary of the Byzantine defeat at the Battle of Pliska? How insensitive.
  • Do these people ever question what they’re doing in the industry? How does an editor assign you that and you accept it?

What’s he supposed to do, lock himself away in between training sessions and games?

A quick google of her byline reveals that the 'journalist' works for the Swindon Advertiser (usually).

I am guessing she was on her hols, saw Sterling eating an ice-cream, snapped it on her phone, and sold it to the highest bidder.

  • Besides - what devastation? England ended up 4thin the tournament not fourth in their group as they did four years ago.
  • Look at you, being all reasonable. You won't get to write for the Daily Mail like that, you know.
  • Things you get up to when there's no footie on the telly (although the Limerick v Cork hurling is shaping up nicely...)

  • Nobby Nolan's Notts County are the bookies favourite to win League 2.
  • Some of my family are Notts county fans and they saying he’s built a good squad there, my mothers ashes were buried there on the sideline two months ago
  • It is approaching 28 years since I saw us win live! Does anyone have a longer spell than that?

    The team that day was
    Miklosko
    Hughton Martin Foster Breacker
    Slater Bishop Parris Keen
    Morley McAvennie

Advanced notice warning. I am going to Huddersfield away in November!!
  • I remember going up to Meadow Lane when Bonzo was manager, my memories are of a nice little ground, a few good pubs that allowed away supporters in and excellent pies.

Plus Nottingham had the highest female to male ratio of any town in the UK (for some reason Nottingham Uni was particularly popular with women).

Given this fact, it is strange that Nottingham is the only UK town that hosts a chain of American restaurants associated with multiple Owl noises.
