It's pretty obvious that Fredericks will be our first choice RB with Zab as back up for the next season so I don't see why we'd be interested in Clyne when our biggest problem is strikers.
Newcastle Chronicle linking us with Isaac Hayden who has put in a transfer request so he can move back down south for family reasons. Strong DM who can play RB at a pinch and might be a good replacement for Obiang if he's leaving.
No point wasting the budget on a back up keeper if Trott is the future and Fab will play every game. Unless Fab gets injured and then we lose points...
Everton would be great as not only would we not have him but one of our (hopefully) just off the top 5 rivals will be blowing a part of their budget also.
No chance he sees out more than half the season if that!

I'd like for his to sign clyne, but with Zab getting an extension and the possibility of a small budget I'd doubt we'd spend almost £15mil on a RB

They've also linked us with Shelvey as usual...
Another 3 month lay-off & it’s Zab for the foreseeable.
As meh a potential signing as I think I've ever seen.

The reaction from most Everton fans to the prospect is also "god no..."

We've been linked with at least 24 players in just two weeks. Think we can probably say some of them will not be on the money...
My concern is some of the above could unfortunately turn out to be true which would be a combination of :nonono: & IMHO.
