Wilfred Zaha’s return has sparked some debate in the press box. He’s been handed an additional one match ban for sarcastically applauding when he was sent off against Southampton.
The club have appealed which means he’s available today, if he loses it he’ll be banned for the FA Cup game at Doncaster next weekend which in all probability he would have been rested for anyway.
Have Palace exploited a loophole which shouldn’t be there?
I think it would be easy to read too much into Arnie's body language. He often looks like he's sucking a lemon and just had his favourite toy confiscated, even when he's playing well.
Jorderz, agree with your post. But if the ban is upheld it should be served in the same competition that it would have been served in. That is where CP are being ‘cute’. Ends up not being a punishment at all.
Good half - decent passing and movement, and commited in the tackle. Only disappointment is that we didn't get a second. If we play like that 2nd half and give Arnie a decent run out, I think he'll score.

Diop (header), Anderson and Arnie. ;goal ;goal ;goal
No one deserves to be dropped after Liverpool

If he misses the game today and wins his appeal, it’s too late. They can’t go back in time and let him play.
The only other option would be that there is no right of appeal, which, quite rightly, doesn’t happen in any legal or disciplinary scenario.
Therefore, Palace goal almost certainly imminent.
"Where were you on Monday night ?" ;lol
Antonio and Anderson have been excellent.
Anderson (and Antonio) are so positive they are always going forward when offered space
