I think it would be easy to read too much into Arnie's body language. He often looks like he's sucking a lemon and just had his favourite toy confiscated, even when he's playing well.
If he misses the game today and wins his appeal, it’s too late. They can’t go back in time and let him play.
The only other option would be that there is no right of appeal, which, quite rightly, doesn’t happen in any legal or disciplinary scenario.
Therefore, Palace goal almost certainly imminent.
