  • Away win. ;ac
  • In 12 home games Watford have only kept two clean sheets and have only failed to score twice

In 12 away games West Ham have only kept two clean sheets and have only failed to score twice

    There will be goals
  • Should hopefully have a ring of players back for this.
  • Adrian,
    Byram, Fonte, Reid, Cresswell
    Obiang, Noble
    Snodgrass, Kouyate, Lanzini
    Antonio

    Subs:
Randy, Collins, Fernandes, Feghouli, Ayew, Calleri, Fletcher

Harsh on Feghouli but then who does he replace in that team?
    I assume Carroll is out

    Adrian
    Kouyate - Fonte - Reid - Cresswell
    Noble - Obiang
    Antonio - Lanzini - Snodgrass
    Ayew

Randolph, Collins, Byram, Nordtveit, Fernandes, Feghouli, Fletcher

If Carroll's fit then him in for Ayew and Fletcher out the squad.
  • Antonio has struggled every time he's played the centre forward role and Saturday was no exception
  • Antonio has struggled every time he's played the centre forward role and Saturday was no exception

He's far better on the wing but its not like we have any other option ;hmm
  • ....................Randolph..................
    .....Kouyate.........Fonte.............Reid...
    Antonio.....Noble....Obiang......Snodgrass
    ......................Lanzini......................
    ...............Ayew...........Carroll............

All out attack. No Byram, Cresswell, or Feghouli. Finding it really difficult to pick a balanced side. Don`t imagine it will be anything like this though.

Ayew did well when he played up front for Swansea last year with 6 goals in 7 games, there's Calleri kicking his heels on the bench and Fletcher's not been given much of a chance.

I suspect AC will be fit and then we can play Antonio as a second striker
  • Randy
    Kouyate Fonte Reid Cressy
    Obiang Noble
    Antonio Lanzini Snodgrass
    Carroll

Ayew for Carroll If he's injured
  • A lot of people were praising Feg at the weekend and prior to Snodgrass playing were saying he held the place, but already no-one has Feg starting ahead of him. Interesting.
  • Agree Eski. Feg for Cressy with Antonio up with AC.

    Randy
    Kouyate Fonte Reid
    Obiang Noble
    Feghouli Lanzini Snodgrass
    Antonio
    Carroll

Actually Herb, I just genuinely thought it was an interesting contradiction on the forum! I think Feg is rubbish! Wouldn't get near the XI for me.
  • From Saturday's showing, I don't think Snoddie is a wing back.
  • Away win.

Sounds like Suz has been on the
    ;redwine again.
  • ;nonono how very dare you

    eski

Feg, imo, deserves to keep his place as he is just starting to find his feet;ok
  • edited February 2017
Fortune, if he is just starting to find his feet, where the hell has he been putting his boots up to now? ;wahoo
  • Since he's found his feet, Feg can now start pulling his socks up ;adkins
  • He may well have found his feet, but he is asking, on what I believe is a telephone application called Shpock, if anyone will swap one of his left ones for a right one.
  • Randolph; Kouyate Fonte Reid Cresswell; Feghouli Noble Obiang Antonio; Lanzini; Carroll

I like Snodgrass a lot, but Watford play with a back 3 a lot, so two pacey wingers might be useful against them
  • I think he was good and is getting better, but if Carroll is fit he just has to start

And while I like Feghouli especially how he hugs the touchline and stretches the play he is behind Antonio, Lanzini and think Snodgrass work rate and crossing ability is needed when we have big Andy on the pitch
  • Carroll a doubt for the game ?
  • Carroll is a doubt for every game. ;pray
  • He's not actually
  • edited February 2017
    Oh yes he is

    Oh no he isn't

Isn't it a bit late for Panto?

How about Peter Crouch in Jack and the Beanstalk......
  • Carroll out of this with a groin injury, according to Bilic.
  • Gawd dammit. Sincerely hope it is only minor / precautionary.

    I would go with:

..........Randy/Adrian...............................(Whoever is best in training/looking most confident)
    Cheik..Fonte..Reid..Cress/Masu..............(for Lb whichever is fittest)
    .........Noble..Obiang...............................(self explanatory atm imo)
Snod.......Lanz........Antonio....................(Snod right, Ant left, Lanz central)
..............Ayew........................................(or if unfit, Calleri gets another chance)
  • Do wonder how long we will kick the carroll sakho can do the road before we realise we need a fit striker for th longer than a month.
