Moulin Rouge is a very divisive film. I love it - very clever, very funny, very sad, very dark. Also the only film I've seen at the cinema that drew an audible collective gasp from the audience ("because she doesn't love you!", for those that know the film).
The only film I've seen at the cinema that drew a collective response was Johnny English, after destroying the police camera which caught him speeding.
Kes - gritty drama and just like my school days - most of the actors were just local people. Love the football match with Brian Glover playing as Bobby Charlton!
