  • It's very desperate stuff and they have not got much time. I agree it makes our task a little harder but if the new coach doesn't hit the ground running he is going to run out of time. He may motivate immediately but to get them used to yet another new system will take a week or two at least.
  • Made me think, 2.5 years in the UK Kudos must of had 7 or 8 managers. Must be some sort of record?? He must enjoy stability! 🙂
  • The two games prior to the Forest one they had started to look slightly better, so hopefully this change will confuse them even more.
  • Various sources say they want De Zerbi but he’s not that keen on the idea
  • I can’t see that anyone that would want for the long term would want to go there for the relegation scrap. None of the big names are going to want a potential relegation on their CV.

De Zerbi will sign - goes in the summer if they go down, if they don’t, he gets a huge survival bonus & long-term deal. Nothing to lose. 7 games is nothing & if they go down he can go back to evaluating his options in the summer. If they stay up he has a job for five years & is loaded, plus has already had a mini pre-season.

He will keep Spurs up. Tudor ‘may’ have taken them down. I still don’t see Spurs in the Champ next season.
  • Regretably Lukerz you are probably right so that is very concerning for West Ham as who is likely to get relegated now instead of us?

    @ Lottery Luke ?
  • We will see at the end of the season when relegation places are decided
  • That's entirely the point though, isn't it. "We will see at the end of the season" is quite different to "He will keep Spurs up". Maybe he will, maybe he won't. Guy hasn't even been appointed.
  • There not gonna be happy

Well I genuinely believe he will

I don’t doubt that you believe it

So I was looking at a BBC article and they have a “Who should Spurs appoint challenge” and Harry is the clear leader at 32% - you know that everyone is simply having a laugh - I know i am and absolutely voted for him.

De Zerbi is currently second at just 16%

    Well it made me laugh
  • I think Spurs match against Sunderland is huge as part of the problem is the panic and pressure. I suspect a good show and three points will settle everything and the players will begin to feel that De Zerbi can lead them, but if they lose, and with a poor display, I think that panic gets amplified as they know he is the last throw of the dice. That could send them into a place of no return.

  • Lucky for De Zerbi they're out of the Cup so he'll have plenty of time to prepare

    Ha’way the lads
  • Iraola leaving Bournemouth at the end of the season, ex-Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig Marco Rose favourite to take over

Palace keen on Iraola to replace Glasner but he's also linked with Leverkuesen, Atletico, Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester United, Chelsea, old Uncle Tom Cobbley and all
  • old Uncle Tom Cobbley are backed by a couple of Hollywood "A" listers so could be an option =)

Lots of rumours that he wants to go be Bilbao manager as they’re his club.
  • And his family want to go home ,
  • Areola has understandably been linked with Bilbao but I've read they're keen on Edin Terzic
  • Bilbao short of a keeper then? 🤔

Areola’s from Paris so he won’t be signing for Bilbao!

Edit: just realised you meant Iraola.
