But publicly saying that - surely they'll have to get rid? (Mutually agreed is unlikely because he's said he wants to stick by his players. So they'll have to pay him off. Smart move on his part.)
it was a hard decision but I imagine most Palace fans would rather have kept Guhai to see if they can win the conference, it's not got much depth in it as always and they could easily have made a good attempt at it, it would have been remembered ( as ours was) much longer than the 20m would be. He isn't as good obviously but he is as central to them as Rice was to us.

Surely he's gone after that interview?
Imma gonna head out to the triangle in a bit - might see Glasner and Frank getting sloshed in the Faber Fox 😂

Two years in Croydon is enough to make anyone want to leave...
Glasner perfect for Palace, but they aren't able to/want to back him
Frank perfect at Brentford, but he decided to move onto a better paid position at Spurs but with it comes higher expectations.
Potter did the same, doing well at Brighton where he laid the foundations for their success.
Nuno did well at Wolves, but wanted to move on.
Clubs get too big for themselves, so do managers at times.
Remember it was a right job getting across the road onto the roundabout it was built on
