Ah, I see. That's the controversial thing where they are letting in the Academy teams. And some clubs' Academied have decline the invitation. ;thumbsup
I suppose there's a trade off between playing the team you think will win, and playing players that you think will benefit from the experience (which is sort of the point of the whole thing).
At 23, he only just sneaks into this thread. But Doneil Henry (currently recovered from his pre-season injury sustained on the US tour, and now on international duty with Canada) is off on loan to AC Horsens (Denmark). At least he'll be used to the weather.
Belic signed a couple of windows ago (off the top of my head it was Autumn time last year?). I've not heard him mentioned much on the OS since then, but Football Manager (I know) has him rated as one of our youth players with the highest potential.
Interestingly, the BBC describe him as a winger in their write up of the deal.
Edit: no, I'm probably making that up. I couldn't find any reference to that. I did see, though he signed Sept 2015 for 1 year with an option for a 2nd (that's now).
According to the reports young team fed to the Lions or Akinfenwa to be precise. He was on the radio earlier saying their boss had said you are not going to lose to a batch of youngsters. Need hardening up as League 1 & 2 teams seem to just bully them.

So out kidz v Coventry proper.
And WHU go 1-0 up ;wahoo ;goal
Kind of proves what I always thought.
The kids really are, although full of promise, not up to senior professional standard, not even League 1.
Still, it's a group stage ting, so there's away to go yet. coyi
Sure had we had some our older youth players that sre now on loan we could've easily won that
If we had Fletcher, Oxford, Samuelson, Cullen, Burke and Page available that would've been a game
(Our 2nd came after Coventry had a player sent off for a 2nd yellow.)
Good luck ;luck Hope it works out for you at your next club.
