Don't want to start a new thread, so as this is pundit related I'm going to post here.
Savage is another pundit I dislike but on Radio 5 at the weekend he apparently said we should be aiming for 4th. He said it's up for grabs and any one of us, Leicester, Man United or Palace could go for it. I've been saying the same thing to mates the last couple of weeks.
I don't think we should expect it or get ahead of ourselves, but if the team want it enough and stay consistent enough, I do think 4th is there for us. Thoughts?
Personally, I would be aiming for top 5. We all know we won't finish above City and Arsenal, then you look at Spurs being in great form and Leicester being 8 points clear of us. Then you add Man Utd and, as we all know, you can't rule out Chelsea now that the players have got their way. LFC are another big club to contend with.
I would target 5th. Then if we finish 6th of 7th, it's still a top season. I think top four is a bit unrealistic, but why not target it at the end of the day?
That's what I think. To be honest, anything in the top 10 is a great season in my opinion this year. But I definitely feel like the club should be looking at 4th/5th going 'you know what, we could nick that this season'.

Mate, he says so much with out actually saying any thing (if you see what I mean). You'd not know he ever played the game by listening to him.
If Savage says we should be aiming for 4th, then personally I think he is a fantastic pundit - one of the very best there has ever been. In fact, he would only be bettered by a pundit who has us down for 3rd, 2nd or 1st
I feel sorry Lawrenson he suffers from that rare disease know as "twonkism" it affects retired players of big clubs and leaves them under the impression that they are all seeing football gurus ;whistle
If we keep our key players injury free then 5th is a stretch, but achievable
But this is West Ham so that's a big "if"
Injury free is the problem. Can't remember that far back when we were without injuries, and would be surprised if A C stays fit for the rest of the season with his record. ;pray

The young lady in the group next to ours, who just happens to be West Ham asked me quite loudly my thoughts on the match Saturday.
We discussed it much to the scousers chagrin ;lol
Put us to lose 1-2
Twonkage
