Defensively very static and Villa look likely to score every time they attack, Midfield neither creating nor defending. Need a change of formation and personnel. Time to trust Casey and change the front line.

I think what upsets me so much about Villa is it’s a squad of signings who probably could have been realistic targets for us and have just worked out so well for them. Watkins, Kamara, Tielemans, Onana, Duran, Rodgers etc. We even were linked to some of them. It’s painful seeing how good they are when our players don’t seem to even want the ball.

We definitely grew back into the game and are still in it after a shocking opening ten minutes.
