  • Oh no, a Todibo og.
  • Once again poor control by paq put us under pressure that led to the og
  • Looks like we might need a Lanzini-esque escape now.
  • Really did not see that coming, not sure why our subs have not come on, we had the opportunity at our corner and now it is four
  • Disastrous second half.
  • All in all I enjoyed that half,

We are still very much in this

    COYI

    Well that aged well
  • We’re all in the same boat
  • Soler already in the book. Not for the foul but for dissent. Silly boy.
  • Soler made sure he got a yellow there, clear nudge in the back topped off with a reaction to the whistle left the ref with no choice,
  • Kudus gonna see red here surely.
  • Kudus gonna see red here surely.

Very lucky imo, only a yellow.
  • I think a red is coming
  • I’m with Ally McCoist, but expect the worst
  • Kudus off. Rightly so.

Upgraded to a red by a VAR referral.
  • What is slightly interesting is that the original yellow was apparently cancelled and he was then given a straight red,
  • The worst thing is Richarlison going down clutching his face.

They always do that when an incident is referred by the VAR; the ref basically signalling that it shouldn't have been a yellow originally, but a red.
  • New Zealand beat GB in the 9th race of the Amreica's Cup to win the series 7-2; the second half hasn't been worth watching so I was following that as well 😂🤣😂.
  • Kudus let himself and team down.....
Another tough one to swallow today....
  • I thought it possible that he might have given a second yellow for the offense he missed, the second raising of the arm - that being said, that might have qualified as a straight red on its own merits

Indeed, but the game was already gone. I think it's a sign of how frustrated he is playing for us, I feel he doesn't want to be here.

That's not good enough for me.
We have no backbone, oh well, it is what it is...But as a player he needs to control himself better, that was an embarrassment IMO.

2 wins in 8, not great, we just seem to fall apart.......

    Me too, equally disappointing outcome.

A huge amount of our start is down to our inability, yet again, to sign a suitable CF. Whatever Slacker might want to say in his defence, Antonio is not fit to be a starting CF and his inability to hold the ball up constantly places us under pressure. Yes, I know, Paqueta had a mare today, but Antonio has been pretty awful every game this season except Ipswich.

  • Shocking second-half collapse. We are overrun in midfield every week and defence collapses whilst forwards get little help. No complaints about Kudus red-card and he may well get a lengthy ban.

If players can't adopt to Lopetegui's way, he needs to adapt to theirs. It is going to be hard struggle to just stay up.

How many more lives has Lopetegui got left?
  • At the end of the day, the result is what it is and truthfully it could have been even harsher but I do not think the disparity in the scoreline accurately reflects the disparity in performance between the teams.

Paq did us few favors today, his ball retention is simply not good enough and we definitely have work to do In midfield, I thought that Kudus had a great first half but has let himself and the team down late on with his red card and although Areola is a decent shot stopper, his distribution worries me.

On the flip side, despite the result I still saw flashes of what the team is capable of……

    Ho hum

It’s not about the game being gone. It’s about his suspension and how many games he’ll miss. The first push to the face he would have probably got away as van der Ven pushed him hence why they both got yellow . It was the second one that got him the red card.
