    If he does move on in the summer, which I think is very likely, whoever buys him gets the added bonus of not losing him to the 2025 AFCON which, thanks to Infantino and the enlarged Club World Cup, has moved to mid-season again from the intended spot next summer; Ghana haven't qualified after only managing 3 draws and 2 defeats to lie bottom of their group with only one match to go.

    incredible really, when they moved JWP on and got a guy in that doesn't want to be here 6 months later. Not that the signing of a freebie was bad in the first place. But whatever due diligence that Tim Steidten and co are doing on the background of a player clearly isn't much.

    If it wasn’t Caught Offside I’d be pretty excited by that rumour. Kolo Muani reminds me a bit of Antonio in that he’s a bit of a runner and quite bullish. Might actually suit us.

    Must admit I've never heard of him, but he went to PSG for €80m last summer. Scored 9 goals with 6 assists in 1,947 minutes across 40 matches for them, with about a third of that as either a LW or RW rather than CF according to Transfermarkt, but with just 2 goals from 12 matches so far this season (admittedly from only 416 minutes with only 2 starts). A not unusual situation with PSG, spent a fortune on a player with good ability and lots of potential to improve, but it doesn't really happen for the player there.

    Brighton have made striker Evan Ferguson available for loan in January, according to The Telegraph.
    The 20-year-old, reportedly valued by Brighton at £60m, is struggling for game-time under new boss Fabian Hurzeler.
    Danny Welbeck, Joao Pedro and Georginio Rutter are all ahead of him in the German's thinking.
    The Telegraph report that if it happens, he will move within the Premier League and names Leicester, Fulham, West Ham and Newcastle as sides that have struggled for goals this season.

    If he is worth that I would be happy for him to contribute to this season and maybe provide a little excitement before heading back home. Lingard helped us and at the time I don't think we expected to be able to sign him.

    Brighton have other options up front. He missed the start of the season with injury (woulda missed pre-season too I think) and, with the very good start Brighton have made, he's struggled to break into the starting 11.

    He is only just 20 I think, so there's lots of potential tied up in his price. For his age he has performed creditably in the last 2 seasons.
