It's slamming shut. Slamming. Slamming will be a thing of the past.

A good Cresswell replacement, if he can stay fit. And we only need to change a few letters on his shirt.

Way too big an "if" for me, according to TransferMarket he missed, for Chelsea and England:

2021/2: 45 Games (cruciate ligament tear)
    2022/3: 20 Games (hamstring injuries)
2023/4: 35 Games (mostly hamstring injury and knee problems)

He's a very good player at his best, but, given his likely wages and fee it's too big a risk given his injury record imo.
  • We already have the physio fully occupied with Fullkrug. The poor bloke will be worn out if Chilwell joins 😉
  • 🐟👋🏻

West Ham are unlikely to have any money to spend in the January transfer window. (Football Insider)
  • West Ham want to sign Botafogo's Brazil forward Igor Jesus, 23, in a £30m deal. (Sun)

West Ham have joined a number of clubs who are keeping tabs on Atalanta's Nigeria winger Ademola Lookman, 27. (Teamtalk)
  • Arsenal are lining up West Ham's Ghana winger Mohammed Kudus, 24, as a £90m replacement for 29-year-old Belgium forward Leandro Trossard, who has been targeted by Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad. (Mirror)
  • Take it.
  • Yes, take it. He has shown class but is a liability.
  • Not sure he is a Liability .Just one moment of madness ,We should be building a team around him and Bowen ,But of course 90 m for our club is a lot of money .just as long as we spend it on young good players to take the club forward

    Like Di Canio...
  • I’d take 90M in a heartbeat. It’s not that I don’t rate him. I do think he will be off in the near future and that’s proper money for him. I don’t think we can build a team around him and Bowen unless he’s played and settled centrally. Bowen is our right sided player, our most consistent attacker, captain and seems very happy at the club.

What is the news on Kudus thought it was today when he heard about an exter ban

Plus the mandatory injury prone striker :)

  • Yes I suppose we could reluctantly take £90 million as long as he doesn’t go to Liverpool as is being reported.
  • If true we would have to take that deal, he is a quality player but that is proper money, this may just be me but I get a sense that he may not be settled in the new regime - I can see why Arsenal would be good fit for him…… and them
  • I always felt( feel) he's a bit of a luxury player. Quick, tricks n flicks, but not enough output.

Of the school of Traore. Looks great. But... Goals?
  • Thought Kudus had great input until he was switched to the left. For a period last season we relied on goals from both him and Bowen to drag us to results.

£90m is a good amount but it’s not easy to find an effective winger to replace him.
  • He will have to start turning in some better performances than so far this season, he hasn't been bad but not looking like 90m, 60m more realistic. At 90m I would definitely do business but at 50-60m I am not sure we could replace him.
  • I really like Kudus. I think at the right club he could become one of the best wingers out there. I would love him to stay, but no doubt he will leave.

I would not be surprised if he ended up in Spain with RM or Barca.

  • Salahs out of contract at the end of the season, just sayin' 😁

Will have a Mane like impact if he goes to Liverpool I reckon.

I must admit, especially if Kudus manages to regain last season's form, that Liverpool is where I expect him to go next summer.
  • I thought it was Arsenal who were interested.
  • Tottenham, West Ham and Chelsea are all tracking the progress of Gent defender Archie Brown, 20, but the Englishman's contract at the Belgian club does not expire until 2027. (TBR Football)
  • Arsenal are ready to spend £83m (100m euros) on West Ham attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus with the 24-year-old Ghana international keen to join the Gunners to play European football. (Fichajes - in Spanish)
  • West Ham are looking at Botafogo and Brazil forward Igor Jesus, 23, as an option to strengthen their attacking options. (Football Insider)
  • 1st February 2025:

West Ham and Brazil forward Igor Jesus, 23, has suffered a serious knee injury and will miss the remainder of the season. (Football Insider)
  • From the beeb 🤔

  • Soler and Summerville are the only ones you could argue that for, and Summerville is catching up now.
  • Fullkrug got 4 games .Must have been asleep =)

He got a total of 63 minutes off the bench in our first 3 matches in the PL, plus 74 minutes from the start in the League Cup against Bournemouth according to TransferMarket.
