I think that's quite a bold decision as he is not established, but could of course be the next big thing, I thought they may have gone for Moyes to try and be more assured of retaining their Premier league status. I would quite like them to go down, nothing against them in particular but of those likely to I have a soft spot for Ipswich and don't mind Southampton. I keep wanting Everton to drop but sadly I think Dyche is too able for that even though he has so little to work with.
Unsurprising with the players scrapping last 2 games. But with the player sales over the last 2 years and not being replaced, plus the difficult set of fixtures they faced to begin with, I do feel it is harsh.
I think he got his wish. Last week he had a pop at the owners and this week the players. And when you say you're struggling to get any improvement from the squad you are basically saying you're not a good enough coach.
I think Moyes would be silly to accept that job unless guaranteed proper funds. When you have decent enough players you can't cash in and still secure your league status. Sully gets a lot of stick, and some is well deserved, but he put all of the Rice money up for the managers use.
I think Gary O'Neil will prove a decent enough manager and probably end up getting a Championship side promoted.
Would anyone here take Pep if he gets the boot tonight? His form isn't good lately so too much of a risk in my book. He will also want to bring that big clumsy centre forward with him and we don't need another Andy Carroll.

Whereas our current manager J Lo decided to publicly slate the same owners and walked out on them 3 days before that season started, IMO that’s actually worse….
Vitor Pereira has been officially announced as the new Wolves manager. He's certainly got about a bit since leaving Porto in 2013, Wolves is his 10th club since Porto, and that includes 3 years in charge of Shanghai:
2013–2014 Al Ahli 2015 Olympiacos 2015–2016 Fenerbahçe 2017 1860 Munich 2017–2020 Shanghai SIPG 2021 Fenerbahçe 2022 Corinthians 2023 Flamengo 2024 Al Shabab 2024– Wolverhampton Wanderers
Saudi, Greece, Turkey, Germany 2nd tier, China, Turkey again, Brazil, Brazil, Saudi again, and now the Premier League. I'm not sure I'd be too optimistic if I were a Wolves fan tbh.
That looks a poor appointment on paper. He is coming to the toughest league in the world and to a team in trouble with no Premier league experience and not much time to work it all out. I guess in their position you have to take a gamble.
They should have been all over Moyes, I wonder if the new owners at Everton will look to Moyes now they have control?

Why would you out Dyche for Moyes?
Because he wins football matches according to David Moyes! Everton have only won three games in the Premier League this season.
I never said I would, I said Wolves should have been all over Moyes and wondered if Everton may look to Moyes.
Were they to do so I guess the argument could be that Dyche is a fire fighter, a good motivator and organiser but may lack the finesse when dealing with needing attack matches and break down rather than defend them through drilled organisation. He did have a couple of good finishes at Burnley but on the whole is a back against the wall manager. I think that's why Everton appointed him, a bit of an Allardyce appointment.
It could be argued that Moyes is similar in that he bases he game on defence and being the team defending and looks to break from that position but Everton will recall perhaps the days he did this so well he was consistently in the top 8 or so, whilst our European exploit are fresh in the memory. I wonder if the new owners will seek a new manager to try and make a statement of intent, an intent different to when Dyche was appointed, as at that time they were in a dire place and survival was all that mattered. I imagine Dyche would make the Allardyce argument, which was that he was as good as any manager and would have proved it at a bigger club, maybe so!
To return to my actual post, personally were I a Wolves fan I would much rather Moyes than this guy they have brought in as he would be less of a gamble and he has very recent experience of the Premier league and relegation fights. Were I an Everton fan I would probably be hoping they were even more ambitious and looking beyond Dyche and Moyes, but I would respect them if they said they want to give Dyche the chance to lead the club with the support they can now offer him.

But
Respect him for his managerial work 👍🏻

I mean what has he achieved?🤷🏻♂️
He insists in playing a way that isn't working, that they don't have the players for. Relegation nailed on.
Yup.
What a job Curbishly did that season.
