Lampard for me is just not ever going to be a successful manager. I think he has a role within a club but I think that would be with the youngsters coming up and preparing them rather than the first team.
The next strangest appointment is Dean Smith to Leicester but maybe they saw something I can't see in him.
Word around the websites is that Levy has decided to wait until the summer to appoint a permanent replacement and Stellini was expected to leave with Conte with Ryan Mason to be caretaker for a second time (he filled after Mourinho left in 2021)
