    Kehrer is not a RB and Paqueta cannot tackle

    Kehrer is Germany’s right back. He is a right back. Having a poor game doesn’t mean he’s out of position, IMO.

    We don’t have any build up in this team. Look at how Palace build attacks. We will never challenge top 6 with a side who can’t build play. Sooner we get Aguerd & Downes in the side the better.

    Time for Aguerd coming into the team, we have no tempo and no control at the back

    Also soucek passing range is so basic and so slow we can't afford to carry him

    Paqueta to drop alongside Rice or maybe finally try Fornals out as a CM

    Yep, we sit deep, presumably because Palace like to counter, but we do it every week.

    We have no quality on the ball from deep other than Cresswell. Rice is decent but doesn't split lines with his passing. Kehrer, Dawson, Zouma, Soucek...enough said there with passing quality.

    Paqueta has been reasonable. Benrahma will always be in and out of games. Need much better second half. They are the better side, comfortably.

    Not quite.

    He's played as much at LB as RB for Germany, rotating with Borussia M'gladbach's Hofmann and RB Leipzig's Henrichs and Raum in the FB position on either side

    And he's had a few poor games for us.

    I can’t wait for the season break for the World Cup in the hope that when we come back our football won’t be so dire. Palace have had two thirds of the possession, four times as many attempts and it’s looking more and more likely they’ll go on to grab at least one more.

    Stats not looking too good. Apparently we’re on 6 successive home wins in all comps but have not managed 7 since 97/98 so 25 years.

    Don't think we will see Aguerd in a PL game until after the World Cup, probably will start against Blackburn in the Cup game.

    If Moyes wants to try something go Scamacca and Antonio up top in a 2, move to a diamond with Rice at the base Fornals and Paqueta either side and put Bowen or Benrahma at the tip.

    According to Transfermarkt, he’s had 6 club career appearances as a LB, and 58 as a RB. And it also reckons he’s played LB 3 times for Germany.

    My understanding is that he's more two footed than most, but his natural stronger foot is his right.

    Really easy. Soucek is offering nothing in this game, they don’t even play balls in the air, Palace. We need more control. Get Downes on for Soucek & let’s go from there. Why Moyes won’t I don’t know.

    Dawson booked for challenging the keeper for the ball at a corner; seems a card determined by the outcome (keeper went down) rather than the action. Very harsh imo.
