Awaiting confirmation, but usually Wright Robinson College, Gorton. It is Visually Impaired Cricket, see https://youtu.be/M1JSsRBfcFk for an idea of what’s involved.
Our housemate is from Ukraine, and she has been reading both Ukrainian and Russian news sites to demonstrate how differently they are reporting things and it’s genuinely terrifying
Gorton is not that far from me. When my neighbour can't make a City game he gives me his ticket for the match, I park in Gorton, opposite Hancock's sweet shop. Let me know if it's on, I might pop over and give it a watch, if that's ok?
Ahhhh yes, I know of Cullis, Reep and Wolves in the 1950s
Won the league three times and finished in the top three eight times by hoofing the ball up the field like Wimbledon in the 80s to speedy forwards. Eventually teams got wise, defended deeper, closed down the defenders, etc. Wolves slumped to 18th in 1962 and were relegated 1965
stats aren't everything, football is an art, not a science
Things were a bit different in the 50s, the pitches were like the Battle of the Somme so hoofing the ball upfield was preferable to what Cullis described as "tip tap, tip tap".
Wolves beat Real Madrid and Honved in friendlies with long ball on mud and some rather ungentlemanly "physical" defending
In the article, it says that Southgate is worried about the turnaround time between the last round of games and the start of the World Cup, and thinks it would be helpful for there to be no derbies and no ‘big 6’ matches in that round of games. Presumably he thinks those matches are more competitive or played at a higher intensity.
If Spurs play Man U that have just Kane and Maguire (just an example) but are littered with international players from other countries. How does that help England? West Ham can play Leicester who could potentially have 4 England international players playing.
Liverpool again they just have Trent and Henderson who probably are not even starters. Yet they are littered with overseas international players. Surely it would benefit England if Liverpool were playing a more intense game.
Ronaldo named in Premier league team of the year but not Tottenhams Hue-Min Son. Presume the team was picked by Sir Alex Ferguson? Son obviously not rated by his peers.

If you've got a spare 5 minutes, a quiz on our top 25 PL appearance makers. I got 25/25 because I'm a massive nerd
(Especially for our stats fiends)

What does everyone think of Slackers new top?
We got relegated that season
I don’t really see anything bad about it. It’s either your sort of thing or not. I don’t mind it.

Just ordered seven ( one for every day), the new bobble hat, the new onesie and a flag to put on my high chair.
