Norwich on Saturday

I never do match threads, and maybe that’s why we don’t win very often.

  • I wonder if you're the chosen one 😲
  • I'd like to see Masuaku coming in for Creswell, Lanzini for Fornals. Bowen is much more effective on the right, so Yarmo should play as No. 10. Hope this will work. Fingers crossed... We need these three points.
  • Still think winner of Watford vs West Ham will be safe and loser will go to the final day needing a win.

Surely if those two get nothing from their next two games and we beat Norwich then that's it.
  • I think we have to get points to get out of this; not rely on others losing. There could be some surprise results yet.
  • 3-0 away win.

  • Great positivity Herb. I like it. B)
Please can you tell the manager and players this. COYI's
  • If we don't win this one, Alderz is banished from match threads forever.
  • Is that the sound of a gauntlet hitting the floor I hear? ;)
  • Haller up front, Bowen on the right, Fornals in hole, Lanzini on the left

    Antonio with his feet up

All we need now is for Lawro to predict a Norwich win...
  • Fabianski
    Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell.
    Bowen, Soucek, Rice, Masuaku
    Haller, Antonio
    for 60 mins then
    Fabianski
    Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Masuaku
    Yarmolenko, Soucek, Rice, Lanzini
    Bowen, Haller

What’s your record like, Outcast? There must be people on here with a 0% win rate...

If you wanted it to be a Derby you shouldn’t have let us lose to Burnley

Pretty sure I saved us during Moyes’s previous stint
  • I thought that was Arnautovic..... :)

Lanzini has to start this game for me. I have been critical of him but he did much better in keeping us ‘ticking over’ against Chelsea & Newcastle & I didn’t feel we had the same level of control against Burnley with him not playing.

Moyes may be tempted to lob Noble into the side given the importance of this game. It’s our biggest of the season.

    I reckon Moyes will go:

    Fabianski
    Fredericks - Diop - Ogbonna - Cresswell
Bowen Noble - Rice - Fornals
    Soucek
    Antonio

If there is a way to extract the data I will happily find out who our good luck charms are
  • Villa and Bournemouth both at home this weekend in tough but winnable games agaisnt Palace & Leicester

Think its safe to say 3 points here is needed
  • Both Villa and Bournemouth were pretty poor last night so they will do well to win those games imo.
  • Leicester will not be easy for Bournemouth. Plenty of pace, rediscovered some form, need to win for their top four push.

Palace are a dangerous side away from home & the way Villa have been playing, not sure any game for them is a banker.

But three point are vital for us.
  • Alderz you’d be hard pushed to find any good luck let alone our charms.
  • Leicester missing a couple of key players for that game.
  • Lawro has it as 1-1.
  • Charlie has us winning 2-0
  • We need a win
