Just looking at their likely XI:

    Foster
    Nyom - Dawson - McAuley - Brunt
    Fletcher - Livermore
    Phillips - Morrison - Chadli
    Rondon

Jonny Evans may return at CB too.

    Very solid side that.

Gonna be very tough. Can't help but think if one side does win, it'll be 1-0, but probably looking at a 0-0 or 1-1 draw.
  • It'll be the kiss of death but there's no way we will not score against WBA - Brunts in my FF team but a makeshift defender. Antonio will give him plenty to do. Snoddy will supply the ammo for AC and we'll see how their CBs cope with him COYI!!!!
  • I agree lukerz, can see a scrappy game, 1-0 us or 0-0.

Have just had a bet on Antonio first goalscorer ;pray
  • Well that's put the mockers on that then ;lol
  • WHEN we win today will be the first top 10 we've beat...

    Fixed it for ya!

It's snowing in Brentwood. Let's hope for a white pitch and an orange ball. ;pray
  • Snowing in SE London too.

    FIFA style ;wahoo
  • I'll take your word on that OCS
  • Snowing? ;nonono
  • Yep, and we have had a power cut to go with it, but it has just come back on.
    Hopefully no more.
  • Surrey can also report that snow is falling
  • Leaving for the game now.

Full on, head to toe, thermals activated.

Carroll out, apparently. No No.9 kit out in dressing room on WHU official twitter.

Was out in Newcastle last night so obviously didn't make the squad, according to reports on Twitter.
  • I would have loved him to play, but if they have their concerns , it's better that he can get a good break and hopefully get over this strain...
Wouldn't mind seeing Jonathan get a start, thought he looked decent in his brief start v Southampton..
  • True.

Just goes to show though that he was always going to miss games, so why not get another forward body in?

So that's Antonio up top, Feghouli and Snodgrass on the wings and Lanzini as the No.10?
  • Lukerz ;ok I think the majority of fans saw the risks in not getting another striker last month. So yeah, Antonio up front, Feghouli, Snodz and Lanzini behind.

Calleri and Fletcher our only other options up front. Not particularly inspiring.
  • Ayew is back isnt he ?
  • Good point Yeold, I'd forgotten all about Ayew.

Apparently Obiang's shirt was missing from West Ham's snapchat story ;hmm
  • Cresswell and Kouyate doubtful apparantly according to sky sports
  • Only positive is Antonio will cause their defence more problems playing as a striker than Carroll. 100%.
  • Blimey.

So we could be looking at

    Randy
Byram Fonte Reid Arbeloa ( ;hmm )
    Noble Nordtveit
    Feg Lanzini Snod
    Antonio

Adrian, Collins, Quina, Ayew, Fletcher, Calleri, ???

Squad looking very thin at the moment
  • Cresswell and Kouyate doubtful apparantly according to sky sports

That's based on Slav's presser earlier in the week.
  • He's trained with the U23s but not played a game. Think he joined first team training yesterday. Bench at absolute best I'd say
  • Jack Collinson is outside the ground today and we stopped for a chat.
