  • If he doesn’t want to stay then………..
  • If hes refusing to play .Then we can stop paying him and use that money to pay for a loan player .Seems simple to me =)
  • Depends on his contract, there might be a clause that says he gets paid during prolonged bouts of sulking...
  • WHAT ABOUT A CENTRE HALF. Sorry for shouting.
  • A couple of years ago most of us would have hated Paqueta to leave. Now a llot of us, myself.included, would be willing to let him go to strengthen somewhere else. -;how fickle we all are! If only they’d listen to us once in a while……..😗⚒
  • I am sure there are plenty of good centre backs we could sign but if they don’t suit NES way of signing players then we won’t get anyone 😉. Does Jorge Mendes have any defenders on his books?
  • Looks like Traore is incoming
  • Bite their hand off
  • Burnley drop interest in Ward-Prowse

Latest from Sky Sports News' Dharmesh Sheth:

Burnley are no longer pursuing a deal for West Ham midfielder James Ward-Prowse.

Burnley had held talks over a move in this window.

Ward-Prowse has not featured under Nuno Espírito Santo - but he was on the bench for Saturday's victory over Sunderland
  • Deal agreed for Paqueta to join Flamengo

Latest from Sky Sports News' Kaveh Solhekol:

A deal has been verbally agreed for Flamengo to sign Lucas Paqueta from West Ham.

The £35.8m (€41.25m) transfer will be formalised in writing in next 24 hours.

Paqueta will join Flamengo straight away.
  • Good lets get this done and move on .Oh and thanks for that great pass to Bowen to win us that European cup
  • Rodriguez gone to Valencia on permanent deal for undisclosed fee.

To be fair, I would have gladly given him a ride to the airport

Off down the bookies to put a tenner on Rodriguez being La Liga’s leader for goals + assists next season.
  • I always thought he was a steady player. Lacking pace for sure but didn't do much wrong in an unglamorous role.

I thought he was terrible when he was in a pairing with Soucek or Alvarez, because of the shared lack of mobility. But when he’s come in to play alongside Magassa, Potts or Fernandes he’s been a good player to help steady the ship and manage games.
  • I think the board should draw some conclusions from the fact that they sell a significant number of players 12 or 18 months after they buy them.
  • The constant change in manager doesn’t help 🫠
  • I really feel like we haven’t given Hermansen enough of a chance, and if we don’t we will lose a lot of money on him

I guess the manager and goalkeeping coach think he's not up to it....
  • Forest offer £35m for Mateta, Palace rumoured to want Strand-Larsen as replacement

Liverpool and others looking to poach Wharton in the summer

    Glasner packing his bags

Somehow I don't think Palace fans are "Glad all over"...
  • But doesn't Mateta want £140k a week and Champions League football?

Apparently so, but then you have to wonder how he was regarded as such a hot prospect in the summer.
  • Different manager, different goalkeeping coach?
  • Obviously I understand that. I'm talking about the fact that he was regarded by pundits and fans as a hot prospect because of his performances at Leicester. To go from that to the scrap heap in 6mths is unusual.

It's the West Ham way ( especially with foreign strikers ) !!!

I don't think Hermansen was considered a hot prospect. I don't remember any reports saying there were multiple clubs fighting for his signature, and any synonyms used to describe him in the media were "Leicester's no. 1", "the shotstopper", "the Danish keeper", rather than "wunderkind", "amazing player", "this season's Allison", etc.

Unless you mean he was considered a hot propect by the West Ham recruitment team. In which case, it might be a matter of Hermansen's agent being worth his money.
