  • Duckett goes for 62, 126-2.
  • Thank goodness for the DRS, Root got a rank bad lbw decision that he immediately reviewed; it was going miles down the legside.
  • A ton for Pope, 206-2.
  • And Root goes the next ball. 206-3.

Wow, Brook is caught in the final over, off a no-ball, the third in this Bumrah over. Phew.
  • Brook survives the final 3 deliveries, 209-3 at close of play.
  • England reach 327-5 at lunch, to trail by 144 runs, losing Pope and Stokes in the session both to fairly poor strokes. A big session after lunch; it it goes well for England then we'll be in touching distance going into the evening session, but, with the new ball very nearly due, India will be looking to make a quick breakthrough and get into our tail to establish a substantial lead on first innings.
  • Smith falls to a good "relay" catch in the deep, 349-6.
  • Smith trying to get as many as possible before the new ball. Bumrah likely to carve through us and we’ll do well to get near their total.
  • Brook out for 99, 398-7, trailing by 73.
  • Carse goes for 22, but he put on a quick 55 with Woakes and has brought England to 453-8, trailing by just 18 runs.
  • Woakes goes in what would probably have been the last over before tea, but the break will be extended now as we're 9 down. 460-9, only 11 behind.
  • All out for 465. No answer to Bumrah.
  • All out for 465. No answer to Bumrah.

Indeed, but I'll take only trailing by 6.
  • All out for 465. No answer to Bumrah.

Well, he is the ICC World number one ranked Test Match bowler.
  • Carse strikes in the 4th over, 16-1.
  • India make good progress until finally Stokes strijes, 82-2.
  • They've gone off for rain and that's it for the day, India are 90-2.
  • Really enjoyable day’s cricket that.Stiil in the balance after three enthralling days, just as test cricket is meant to be.
  • Early breakthrough by Carse, 92-3.
  • 153-3 at lunch, still in the balance imo.

153-3 at lunch, still in the balance imo.

Not quite so much now, India have really accelerated since lunch, and both Rahul and Pant have completed their centuries and remain unbeaten atm. India 264-3.
  • Bashir finally makes the breakthrough, Pant goes for 118, with India 287-4.
  • 298-4 at tea, a lead of 304.
  • Rahul finally goes for 137 as triple Nelson strikes, 333-5.
  • Woakes takes one now, 335-6.
  • Now Tongue strikes, 349-7.
  • And another for Tongue, who is on a hat-trick, 349-8.
  • And another, not the hat-trick, but 3 wickets in 4 balls. 349-9.
  • A decent enough over, a triple wicket maiden 😂🤣😂.
