364 all out, England need 371. Considering they were 287-3, we've finished them off quite well. It's a very gettable target at Headingly, but it's all about how well Bumrah bowls. We really could do with not losing a wicket this evening.
  • 21-0 at the close, should be a good day tomorrow 🀞🀞🀞.
  • It feels like the first four days were always pointed to this today. Just got to hope that the English summer doesn’t ruin it.
  • A solid start, 117-0 at lunch.
  • A ton for Duckett, having just been dropped when on 97. 176-0.
  • And they're off for rain, 181-0.
  • Play back underway.
  • Crawley goes for 65, 188-1.
  • Pope doesn't last long, he's gone for 8, 206-2.
  • Duckett goes for 149, 253-3, 118 more needed
  • And Brook goes for a golden duck, 253-4.
  • And they're off for rain again, with England still needing 102 for victory.
  • Back out again, 102 runs needed.
  • Just a little bit tense.😰
  • India burn their last review.
  • 300-4, England need 71 more runs.

Stokes top edges one and is gone, 302-5, 69 needed.

It's starting to get a bit too close for my liking.
  • 312-5, 59 runs needed. New ball due in just 9 overs time, so we need to try to keep scoring so not too many are left when Bumrah comes steaming in with a bright red cherry.

What's Bumrah doing sat off the field just watching, resting until the new ball? Bad darts.

Someone obviously thought the same as me as he's been brought back on now.

England manage 37 in those 9 overs, so just 22 more needed as India take the second new ball, with Siraj returning to the attack and almost certainly Bumrah will operate with him from the other end.

I'm really surprised, Jadeja is continuing with the new ball.

  • England win 😊😊😊, by 5 wickets.
  • Wonderful stuff. They’ve only gone and done it again.πŸŽ‰
  • Incredible match. I just hope they play like this this winter and don't choke.

They had a much better approach in the 4th innings than they have had when batting in some other matches. Yes, they tried to be positive, but they were a lot more sensible when conditions were more difficult, almost, dare I say it, as though there was some element of old style Test cricket mixed in with Bazball. As much as it's fun to see them trying to score at 6 an over, sometimes you have to accept that the conditions are too difficult for that, and you have to bat accordingly. Very good chase today, well done lads πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.
  • Just seen how the West Indies lost all ten of their fourth innings wickets in one session. This could have been England at one point in history or another.
  • I'm sure we recently bowled Australia out before lunch at Trent Bridge. It can happen to any team at any time.
