Jorderz, At this stage of the season it’s a bad result as it was one of the games most had highlighted as a must win, draws won’t get us out of the mess we are in.
IMO, I think that the importance of the game played on our minds, so often our final ball was simply lacking, we fought hard enough and hustled but failed to create much in the way of purposeful combinations in possession.
Bournemouth generally moved the ball better than us but until the last 20 mins failed to really break us down.
Was pleased to see Nuno roll the dice and go two up top at the expense of a midfielder, it opened the game and we created chances but it did not do much for my heart.
Bowen was particularly disappointing for me today, found himself in promising positions but failed to capitalize and often lost possession.
As said elsewhere, in any other season this would be an acceptable result and performance but i think we were all looking for more today as there is a real danger that we have discovered ourselves and found our form a little to late.
There seems to be a problem with Bowen .I think he loves the club so much that its effecting him as he seems to be trying to hard to carry the team on his shoulders ,Over thinking things
Yeah - it’s a shame, games are running out & with Liverpool & City in 2 of our next 3, I don’t see who we are staying up above, unfortunately.
It’s not Leeds, it’s not anybody above Palace, Spurs won’t go down. Forest are too good with their new manager & some of their players like Gibbs-White, Anderson, Murillo.
Yesterday was a huge game to win - had we beaten Man Utd a draw would not have been the end of the world, but given we did not see that out yesterday was very harmful
If you look at the last 6 games form for all the PL we are about third or fourth with 3 wins and 2 draws. Of our 6 we should have won at least one of the draws and should never have suffered the loss. This could all change when you look at the last 6 after the next 3 games but at the moment we are one of the in form teams.
If we're still in touching distance after the next 5 games (Liverpool A, Fulham A, Brentford H, Man City H and Villa A) then we have a run of winnable games in April (Wolves H, Palace A and Everton H).
Depends on how Forest and Spurs do over the next few games. If they find form then I can't see us staying in touch.
So are we hoping Spurs & Forest lose all their games & draw against each other. I can only hope we can find a win from one of the matches we aren’t expecting to get any thing from to fill the gap left by our two draws. In our last two home games we could have really put Forest under pressure but didn’t.
We beat 12 men today. That ref was poor (see Buffy for details 😁) When I get Time I'll do a table of refs so we know what to expect. Apart from that, it was a good team effort, just lacked the moment of magic to win it.

As it stands we are now 1 win from going above Forest, but many on here are writing us off. I don't get it..

Forest are within reach. I also hope Spurs are in such a mess Igor Tudor can't get a tune out of them.
At the moment I think we are as good as at least 6 other teams in the League. It was just so poor a start to the season.

West Ham (25) - Liverpool A, Fulham A, City H, Villa A.
Forest (27) - Liverpool H, Brighton A, City A, Fulham H, Spurs A.
Spurs (29) - Arsenal H, Fulham A, Palace H, Liverpool A, Forest H.

Tbh, I wasn't the only one who thought so.
