Another huge game as it's one we'll realistically be targeting; 3 of our next 4 matches after this are Liverpool and Villa away, and City at home. Unfortunately Bournemouth, after looking likely to be drawn into the relegation battle, have gone on a really good run and have won 4 and drawn 2 in their last 6.
Hopefully alderz will use his mod privileges to change this to a Match thread rather than a MOTM 😂🤣😂.
This really is a must win as the realistic opportunities for three points are sprinkled within those that three points would be a surprise. We have a lot going for us as we are at home and the crowd, buoyed by our recent performances, will be up for this evening match. Should we win it will really put pressure on Forest and Spurs on Sunday.
I think the team picks itself after the last few performances but there will be a question of whether Tobido comes straight back in as leaving aside that injury time equaliser against United we would have had three clean sheets in a row.
Agreed - I would leave the back four as is for now . Mavro has really stepped up and I have liked what I have seen thus far from Disasi - would like to see them form a partnership
Once again Bournemouth have signed a complete unknown after selling a key player.
19yo Brazilian right winger Rayan, (Vasco de Gama £24.7m plus £5.6m add ons) has started the last two games and scored in both
They also spent some of the Semenyo money on 20yo Hungarian AM/CM Alex Toth (Ferencvaros £10.4m plus £4.6m add ons) but he's not had quite the same impact as Rayan
Justin Kluivert is out after knee surgery and while Marcus Tavernier is back in training Ireola says its too early for him.
Otherwise its the same squad we drew with back in November
As Buffy says Bournemouth have recovered from their 11 game winless run and have gone six league games without losing
Enes Unai hasn't scored since we last played, he's only scored 5 and had just 6 starts in 48 appearances for Bournemouth but has scored both times he's played against us
We've been looking good with two strikers, or at least one midfielder very close to the striker, so I'd want to stick to that. I think Wilson's lack of mobility hurts us too much, so for me the options would be to have Soucek right up with Taty, or Bowen in the middle with him and Traoré on the wing. I think I'd go with the former.
