  • Silly foul to give away by Taty there, Bournemouth go straight down the other end and nearly score.
  • Then Summerville has a shot deflected onto the roof of the net.

    Superb interception by Mavropanos there.
  • Players all putting a shift in.
  • Kante on for Magassa.
  • Getting near our ultra vulnerable time
  • Really fed up with this ref.
  • Bournemouth looking more likely
  • Great header by Diouf.
  • On any other day a point against a solid Bournemouth team wouldn't be the worst result. But with the position we are in, home game, 3 points is absolutely needed.

Wilson shoulda done better there imo, a better pass and Summerville is in.
  • Enes Unai…
  • Enes Unai…

    😱😱😱
  • A huge improvement in the quality of our corner delivery imo.
  • Ref is dreadful.
  • Very lazy by Wilson to be offside there.

Great chance on the break, but Bowen's shot is always rising too much.

    Yeah not good enough today

All our big players offered nothing, huge opportunity not taken
  • A hard fought point, but really not enough given the position we're in.
  • I know we keep saying attack is the best form of defence but AWB plays so high up it puts us under a lot of pressure when the other team breaks.
  • Bowen still not at his best but a good team effort against an in form side. But the points are slipping away
  • Yep no good saying good effort, clean sheet etc

Games are running out & points drifting away
  • Disappointing draw but can't fault the team for effort. We lacked cutting edge, had 20 shots and only 3 on target. We missed Pablo. Want Forest and Spurs to lose tomorrow and then we can beat Liverpool next Saturday.
  • We didn’t give ourselves much chance with our passive game plan IMO
  • I expect Forest to win tomorrow & I think Spurs have a decent chance too, so with Anfield next up…
  • Simply didn’t do enough to win it 😞.

I agree - I thought we were poor & actually have been since we have lost Pablo & had to go with Wilson or back to 4-5-1

At the moment, Bowen isn’t producing so we are solely relying on Summerville or Fernandes - Fernandes was poor today & Summerville can’t do it all
  • Fair result IMO, not sure either team deserved the win, even though we had more attempts on goal, let's hope it's a point gained rather than 2 dropped at the end of the season....
  • It's not a bad result at all, I believe they were 2nd or 3rd in the form table before today. The problem is we have given ourselves too much to do to get out of trouble, which is why I have thought we would still go down even after the recent wins.

We can't and won't win half our remaining games because the PL is tough and we don't have the squad depth to change things up when Bowen, Summerville and Taty aren't at their best.

I just wish we could have found our feet 6 or 7 games earlier under Nuno. The defence and structure has improved, and we do carry a threat, but it's all come a little too late IMO.
  • Very disappointing result in the position we are in but Bournemouth really had a plan to ensure Summerville and Bowen were isolated by close marking and it worked a well. Jimenez is the same build as Sumemrville, small, fast and agile, I would have moved him around as against bigger players he is too fast and agile, so he either gets the better of them or they give fouls away. I don't think we were proactive enough in trying to find a way past their game plan.

We did fight and are still alive however, and should Forest and Spurs lose tomorrow, as both should really, we will have gained another point on them. It does put the pressure on us to try and get something against Liverpool now however. This isn't impossible now we are keeping clean sheets as this Liverpool is not the side of last season.
