  • Must say also Scarles is shocking at set pieces, why does he take them, is he really the best we have....
  • Can someone else please take our free kicks. Scarles and Fernandes have been woeful.

He’s the default left footed option if you want Bowen in the box, but yeah completely agree.
  • The board will be brave to back Nuno after that disgraceful performance. We need a captain on the pitch - it is not a role for Bowen.

This might be a worse side than the Avram Grant one
  • Can someone please explain to me why when we are three goals down at half time NES changes two midfielders & then I understand just sits on the bench for the whole of the second half doing nothing to try to motivate his players?

Nuno sat in his seat the whole 2nd half, nothing, no emotion, nothing.....
I'd be brave and get rid, I'd really get Bilic back, even if it's just to see him show some passion, more than this team, captain and manager offers....This was the worst performance I've seen for a while, and we've seem some dross in the last 2 seasons......

Nuno didn't even wait to shake the Wolves managers hand, he just walked off, poor....Perhaps he knows his time is up.....
  • Two bright points:
    1. West Ham drew the second half
    2. My team are playing Bournemouth tonight, and should beat them for you.

Which reminds me. I need to change my handle to “secretgoonersfan”!
  • I’ve been watching this game on a 16 hour flight. this game has made my flight seem even longer!
  • Shocking display against what was the worst defence before this game. No shots at goal. Bowen was very subdued, Wilson hardly in the game, defence disgraceful and no creativity. Players just strolling around. Three of the so-called winnable games have returned one point. Need to win at least 9 out of the 18 remaining games. It is looking ominous.
  • Why do we get to the final third then always pass the ball backwards? We lack energy, movement, tactics, squad depth and players suitable for the premier league. Fingers crossed for the rest of the season but I am losing hope.
  • Like many on here I’ve been a West Ham fan for many years,I went home and away and it that time I’ve seen so much rubbish with the occasional brilliant ray of sunshine, But THIS?! THIS today?! It’s one of THE worst performance and one the darkest days in my time of following this club. I could not believe what I was watching.
  • I didn't see the match, but from reading above it was a blessing.

Bilic was my choice even after Moyes. He at least shows passion, and plays exciting football. Get him in. It could be fun in the Championship with him.

That Krecji penalty check is exactly the same as the one Paqueta got against him the other day. I thought that was a penalty, and I don’t see how this one wasn’t.

Matt Upson on comms said it (probably) wasn't given as Krecji didn't have his arms around Soucek's waist.
So now it's alright to bring a player down with your arms as long as you don't wrap your arms around him.

Perhaps PGMOL really means Professional Games Moronic Officials Limited

Kilman has to be pound for pound, the worst CB at this club in the last 25 years.

Actually worse than Roger the Relegation Johnson and is up there with Roberto for the most flimsiest player. Bring back Casey from Swansea and put Kilman on the backburner till summer to move him on and save whatever value he has left.
  • I think the defence just broke today as we had out Tobido, AWB and Diof, and it wasn't the best with those in it, without them it was a lower end Championship defence.

Sadly today I lost some faith which was built on the fact that although we were not getting results the performances were getting better by small increments, today was just a terrible performance in everyway.
  • If it’s any consolation I’d rather take defeat today and a win on Tuesday than the other way around. Sadly I think we will lose Tuesday too.

Well, I s’pose it had to happen one day.
    I agree Yeold.😳

  • Desperate times call for desperate measures 😆

Remember when we used to say that about Rice?

No, but sadly at the moment rubbish isn’t good enough ( not scarles in general ) just set pieces, whenever we have one we never look dangerous or anywhere near scoring, not recently anyway…IMO👍🏻
BTW, Senegal 🇸🇳 won, so Diouf won’t be back soon …Good for him, not us….
  • Oh boy, was unable to watch the game…..came on here before knowing the result……oh boy…..could not believe what I was reading…but then again……
  • Wolves have the least points ever at Christmas, and they won comfortably 3-0. To quote Joe Kinnear, we were lucky to get nil. There were a couple of players who looked like they had never played professional football in their lives, forget about Premiership level. I can remember off the top of my head at least twice where a Wolves player got past the defender, knocked the ball out of play, and the West Ham player still managed to get the last touch so it was their throw in. Usually, after a player has a 'mare, I will say it was a bad day at the office, and write it off. But after so many bad days at the office, you have to ask if you're in the right office. And there are so many people having a lot of bad days at the office, you have to question the hiring manager.
Forget Leeds and Forest looking forward to playing us, I reckon about 15 Championship teams are counting on a double gimme next season.
  • There were a few players who looked like they had overdone the New Year Eve celebrations.
  • Oh boy, was unable to watch the game…..came on here before knowing the result……oh boy…..could not believe what I was reading…but then again……

Mate, do yourself a favour and don't watch the replay, it'll totally ruin your year.
  • I think today’s performance was largely down to a weak squad and tired first team. We could not rotate certain players who’ve played a lot of minutes over this busy festive period. There’s a reason teams like Man City do well every season and it’s the fact they have depth beyond their first team to rotate over the busy Xmas/New Year period without a drop in intensity.

I’d change up our team for Nottingham Forest. Rest Potts, drop Kilman, rest Wilson, possibly even rest Bowen. Play Kante, Igor/Golambeckis, Pablo, and if we get Traore/Castellanos over the line then I’d play either of them
  • I’d have Soucek in the for the next game, personally
  • Isn’t our record pretty abysmal when Souček doesn’t start? In fact if we go back to when he signed, January 2020 (?), & checked all the games since then he hasn’t started, I bet our win % is incredibly small.
  • The worst player on the pitch was that referee. Bottled the early pen, let Wolves body check from behind, fell for their diving.
Nuno realised the mf was overrun and went 3 at the back in the second half. Sensible, but the horse had already bolted.
And yes, it was depressing to watch that game ☹
