Just want to see that again because shouldn't it have been the left back 's job to deal with the player? Kilman CD was covering the Chelsea player so was taken out of the defence at that point. The attack came down the left, but it looked like AWB was covering in CD.

Maybe. Probably. But if AWB tracked his man properly it wouldn’t have mattered
It’s the second game of the season. Maybe we’ll go down, but catastrophising is pointless.
It’s not catastrophising mate. We let in 3 against a newly promoted club & have let in 3 in a half v a side who drew 0-0 with Palace last week. It’s bad.

Fair point. But an alternative was to stop the cross. ( Was it a cross, technically?)
It’s not catastrophising to say that you’ll be “very surprised” if we stay up, after less than 1.5 games of football in a 38 game season? Chelsea are title contenders (for some, not me) and away to a newly promoted side is always tough on the opening day. Obviously it’s bad, anyone with eyes can see that, but if you really think that one and a half games is enough evidence to be sure then I think you’re catastrophising a bit, personally.

Although I thought he was less poor.
Were going down
We cant defend the final 3rd, every attack ends in a goal

Isn't this 20? 22?
