  • Cresswell and Scarles coming on, Rodriguez and Emerson off.
  • Can’t see us holding out. Our defence is one of the worst in the league. We average at least 2 per game.
  • Honestly Fulham have battered us, they should be winning this game I don't count them out of it, to not do it either.

Really not sure about battered us personally
  • This is not good for my heart
  • I have severe heart failure and am on borrowed time anyway. There are things I’m advised against doing but I daren’t tell them I support West Ham.
  • 6 minutes added to survive.
  • Thankfully Traore is as wasteful in front of goal as he's nearly always been.
  • How did they not equalize then, he blasted it over
  • This is torture.
  • Incredible how he has not scored there. If we somehow walk away with 3 points here it feels like another one of those where the opposition somehow have failed to put away 5 or 6 absolute sitters.
  • Nice clipped ball in by Scarles but Paqueta's header is too high.
  • 3-2 FT, phew.
  • FT. Think we got away with one there. ⚒
  • They gifted us 2 goals, and we gifted them 2, so it shoulda finished 1-0.
  • Tbf, the form they are in & the injuries we have, that is a top result
  • Up to the dizzy heights of 12th, above Man Utd and Spurs lol.

Wow, a great result when frankly we are facing a bit of an uphill struggle with injuries etc.

Not a classic and maybe fortunate to take all three points but you have to take your chances and I do not think we played poorly today.

Paqueta is truly frustrating but no one can doubt his commitment as he put in a shift today as did a number of others - thought Soucek had one of his better games

Really pleased for everyone at the club
  • We were by no means great, but wow what Potter got out of that 11 & available squad is remarkable in the space of 6 days.
  • Welcome three points but the game could easily have gone the other way. Fulham were the better side and both teams were trying to see who could give away more gifts. Potter would be angry with goals that we gave away but happy that the team gave it all. Hope Kudus OK otherwise another forward headache for the next game.

A nerve wracking last 10 minutes.
Took us a while to get into the game, then we’re 2 up…
They had lots of attacking play, AWB, I like him going forward, but crosses are coming in far too easily from his side IMO….
But as @Lukerz said, considering our injuries, no complaints here, a win is a win , and under the “manager “ who mustn’t be named, not sure we’d have got that result tonight….
3 points, outplayed at times, but a 1st PL game against a team unbeaten in 8, and up till tonight unbeaten in London derbies, and 3 points……
Well done to all, a gutsy performance….

    Fulham wasted chances we didn't.

Fulham were the better side but handed us two goals.

We didn't deserve to win but did.

Not the West Ham way, but I will take it.

What do you actually find so funny??
  • The same old negativity tbh.
  • No negativity, you can’t deny Fulham were unlucky to lose but I can’t fault the character, the effort, & what Potter got out of that 11 & bench options. Just look at the bench available & we were in dire straits ahead of that game. Great result.

Ignore it if it bothers you, We can’t ALL agree on things, but Slacker in reality, Fulham had loads of chances so don’t understand you’re point of view re “negativity” it’s what most honest fans saw tonight 👍🏻⚒️
  • Also, huge call to take Kudus (who yet again was poor) off & bring on Ings. Paid off immensely after Ings caused the 3rd goal.
  • I agree, but the negativity started almost from the kick off, it’s always the same.
We started the game without a striker with a team cobbled together. They played really well for twenty minutes then we got a goal and momentum.
A game of football is 90 minutes.
Crazy game, but hey we won.

With the team he had available, to put out a side like that, in a 4-2-2-2 style formation, & get 3 goals (albeit through some poor play from them), beat an in form side, unbeaten in 9, with what he had available, brilliant from the manager. He was creative, found a formula that worked in the sense it got us 3 goals & 3 points, used his limited substitutes at the right times.

Well done. Fulham will feel aggrieved - but with the injuries we had, the lack of players available in forward areas; great management, great creativity, great maximising resources & great result.
  • I didn't get to see the match but delighted with the result. To score three goals with much of our attacking threat out injured is in itself a great achievement.

Reading the sports pages and this thread it seems we were pretty fortunate at times and not necessarily the better side but I would just match that up with the Leicester match in which our performance definitely deserved all three points and we came away with none.

Most importantly it will be a big boost to Potter and the players and is exactly what a new manager needs.
