To be fair that was an entertaining watch today, the game had pretty much everything, was an open affair with some crazy mistakes, dodgy boots, a couple of the clearest penalties you will ever see, some great goals and one very cheeky one and to top it all……..some really stupid repeated fan behavior which Tottenham seemed to do very little to try and contain which will surely result in severe penalties for them.
Oh yes, I almost forgot, Spurs went all Spursy and threw away a two goal lead to find themselves two down.
Bit of a personal shame that the ultimate beneficiary was Chelsea but overall, watching the game was time really well spent
Just looking at the Spurs forum and a big groundswell of Poste out is forming. The most reasonable case put forward was that he has one good way of playing but when it doesn't work he lacks the ability to change a match that's running away from him.
The best by far however was that he is simply out of his depth in this job, the same as Mourinho and Conte were! This is the Jose Mourinho who had won the national league with Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid, plus their domestic cups before arriving at Spurs, but somehow the Spurs job took him out of his depth. Conte had only won the Italian League 4 times with different teams and the premier league with Chelsea, yet for him also Spurs was beyond him. Spurs, the Spurs that won a league cup in 2008, and last won the league in 1961.
No Premier League match Saturday lunchtime but an absurd Sunday schedule with two matches kicking off at 7pm and only one on live TV
If you want some Saturday lunchtime entertainment may I recommend Leyton Orient v Burton Albion on Sky Sports plus.
The Os are 16th in League One and have won four in a row; Oldham (FA Cup), Bristol Rovers, Wigan and Charlton (EFL Trophy ex-Leyland DAF Cup). Burton are 23rd
There are a lot of happy faces in the William !V
3pm Arsenal v Everton Liverpool v Fulham Newcastle v Leicester Wolves v Ipswich
Be interesting to see if Cunha gets a 5 match ban after whacking the Ipswich security guy in the back of the head and then ripping off his glasses.
Given Ait-Nouri got his second yellow after the final whistle, sounds like I'm lucky Cunha didn't get a post match red which woulda been my third this week for my FF team 😂🤣😂.
I think Palace will come good. We have been speaking a lot about managers for obvious reasons and I have been a big fan of the Palace manager since the beginning. If they give him time he will be a great appointment for them.

There are no fans like Spurs fans.

Great game of football, it had just about everything, right enjoyed it.
