Overall - I am in favor of play-offs for the third promotion spot - it keeps the season alive for longer and provides hope and maintains interest - however - I feel it is odd when the winners of the Play -off final get a sizable trophy- for essentially coming third- surely securing promotion is reward enough - maybe I am just channeling my inner Victor Meldrew

I'd prefer the play-off to be between the 3rd placed side in the lower League and 3rd from bottom of the higher league.
