According to the Mail Wilshere was supposed to be back in training by now but is still in pain and expected to be another 3-4 weeks which kills off any hope of shifting him this month.

May be gone by then. Summer 2021 they can sell up without handing over any cash to the landlords. Funnily enough that is in 18 months time, same as Moyes contract and rumoured Fernandes loan period. Spooky!

According to SSN whether we proceed with Randolph depends upon Fabs scan so I guess we probably won’t go ahead with it especially as it’s possible that Fab will be ready before he is

I've got any number of coincidences I can run by you ...
https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20120426-what-a-coincidence
Fredericks - "four to six weeks. He seems to think he feels quite good and won't be as long as that, so I hope he's right".
Antonio - "He's not quite ready yet"
Wilshere - "has been in the gym and is working towards coming back, I couldn't give you an exact date at the moment"
Yarmolenko - "another injection in his thigh, so we hope he's not going to be too long."
However, it does seem to suggest he was rushed back for Bournemouth. I suspect if Martin was fit he'd have played and Fab given a longer rest.
Hopefully they'll learn from this and give Fab the rest he actually needs.
Anderson,Yarmolenko,Diangana,Holland, Antonio, Snodgrass and Masuaku.Yikes.
Until Antonio is fully fit we have Snodgrass, who has zero pace, and Masuaku who is also carrying an injury. Not ideal with important games coming up.
So that makes
Masuaku
Snodgrass
Ogbonna
Anderson
Fab
Fredericks
Yarmo
Wilshere
Johnson
So our first XI at full strength if we played today
Randolph
Zaba Balbuena Diop Cresswell
Fornals Noble Rice Lanzini
Antonio Haller
Sub: Martin, Reid, Sanchez, Ajeti (and the kids).
Antonio isnt going to last 90 minutes....and likely neither will Reid if called upon...and Sanchez/Ajeti arent trusted
We need to get those players back....
Also how have Newcastle got 13(!!) Players injured and doing relatively well
