Let's be honest though, our season is now defined as a battle to avoid relegation, shocking recruitment that one player should be quite so influential, but I can't help feeling it would be the same if Haller or Rice has been injured.
I so hope that is true ASLEF, that is the thing more than anyting else IMO that will help get our season back on track. Although in Fab's recent interview he said it was going to be a slow job that couldn't be rushed, or were they just trying to manage our expectations.
I reckon the plan is to get Southampton to spend all week planning to put high crosses on top of Roberto for him to flap into his own net and then secretly have Fab in goal so their game plan is a flop
We continue with Fabianski his recovery, also Lanzini - they will not be ready until the end of the month. Michail Antonio we must continue seeing - we'll see tomorrow if he's fit for the game. Wilshere is working, also Winston Reid, with the squad
So I guess Martin will be in goal for the Saints game next week.
I hate how correct i have been proven on Wilshire. Absolute waste of money and another sick note akin to Carroll said this at the time his signing was pointless.
That's a lot less than I thought, because he looked to be in a really bad way when leaving the pitch. Usually, players limp off, but he was really struggling.
